Q: Game crashes, halp! A: Game can crash with or without mod, its in EA. Q: UE4SS 2.5.2 or 3.0.0? A: Both work fine with my mods. I haven't seen the differences stability wise.
Q: Do I really need signatures for Palworld 0.1.4? People says they are not needed anymore. A: Some mods will work without signatures, but some absolutely wont.
Q: I have issues installing mod on dedicated server. A: Read this article.
NOTES For clarity - beside getting exp from building, crafting and picking up, there is exp rewards system which isn't included in this mod.
If game crashed on the start/load, try to set bUseUObjectArrayCache to false in the UE4SS-settings.ini file. You may also need to install UE4SS signatures (see required files).
CHANGELOG 1.05 - removed manual mod enabling (you need to copy folder from archive to Mods and thats it) and made names reflect mod values to avoid Nexus issues with uploading files with the same name and size. everything double checked.
Hey, great Mod by the way! I installed it - I can see results in building, crafting, picking up, etc. However, when I fight bosses I get the regular amount of EXP. Palworld is a great game, unfortunately, the latter half becomes a grind fest. I don't know where I'm messing in the process: am I supposed to add a line in the text file for bosses/enemies?
I'd wish I can. there is 3 settings for capturing exp, but those are references to exp tables, not absolute values, so not much help. someone more familiar with the game's structure might help with that.
is there any mod from you that can make no jump exp level.. what i mean is.. if i am lvl 10.. and i successfully defeat boss mamorest.. normally i will jump to lvl 21.. but the mod makes u only up to level 11 with all the other leftover exp become 0.. it means you need to get the same original exp to lvl 12 that start from 0..
Can I get a curve, to get very low exp on low levels, but close to vanilla in late game? Because base game basically force feeds you XP until you get around level 20, skipping the most fleshed out content, and then becomes a slog around level 35 where you have nothing to do.
This is exactly what I want as well! It feels like EXP flows so quickly in the early game that I can't stop and appreciate each individual technology level, while it becomes tedious and boring to level to 50 in the late game. I've been manually adjusting my EXP rate as I level, but it would be so much better with a mod that automatically adjusted things to make progression more linear.
This is what I am currently running: Level 1-10 = 0.3x EXP Level 11-20 = 0.5x EXP Level 21-30 = 0.8x EXP Level 31-35 = 1.2x EXP Level 36-40 = 2x EXP Level 41-45 = 5x EXP Level 46-50 = 20x EXP
thank u and of course i mean the 10first catches =) because so i can higher the other one and my pals in my base leveling faster, i think thats nice =)

Building, and picking are fine.
Hope you'll be able to figure it out soon :D
And thank you for this awesome mod.
PS: Tried on new game
---
Here is the settings I wanted (on 0.1x exp from vanilla settings)
-- Configurable
-- Building Experience, default is 3
BuildExp = 0
-- Crafting Experience, default is 2
CraftExp = 100
-- Experience on resources pickup, default is 1
PickupItemOnLevelExp = 0
print("Configurable Exp Gain loaded\n")
NotifyOnNewObject("/Script/Pal.PalGameSetting", function(PalGameSetting)
PalGameSetting.PickupItemOnLevelExp = PickupItemOnLevelExp
PalGameSetting.BuildExp = BuildExp
PalGameSetting.CraftExp = CraftExp
end)
PPS: It seems to only not work for the 1st thing i pick up, then works... weird
