It works for v0.2.1.0, even with dedicated servers like LinuxGSM. For it to work with dedicated servers, you must INSTALL THIS MOD ON BOTH the Palworld server's mod/pak folder, AND your local steam Palworld's mod/pak folder.
To get it installed and working, I had to completely shut down my game and shut down my dedicated server. Then I installed the PAK file according to directions and started the server and game client back up.
After that, I see "128" on max based in the Palbox upgrade menu, and my attempt to build the 8th base in my guild worked.
I installed this yesterday and the game will no longer launch. It crashes instantly upon clicking play on Steam. I tried removing the mod with NexusMods manager, and i tried uninstalling from Steam and reinstalling, and still won't launch. What do i need to delete in the files? What do i do?
All you do is delete it from the folder. If you're using other mods, it could be that. I am currently shifting through mods since I am still crashing as well.

Does anyone know if we build too many base will affect server fps?
My players aren't looking to modify the game to the extremes that this does by default.
