The Legendary version should still work. Only missing Bellanoir currently which I will have new version of it put together to include it soon. I will also separate out the download versions on here so they can be downloaded separately.
You only really need the PAK file currently. And it will technically work in any folder under Paks.
Patch PAK mods need to be under Paks folder (Current configuration of this mod). BluePrint Mods have to be under LogicMods folder. LUA Scripts are located in a Mods folder under Binaries.
I would love to use this mod,I just am not able to install the mod manually. Can you in a future update make a vortex download possible? Thank you for your time
Is anyone else noticing the mod not adding the extra pals from the merchants? I had the previous version installed I believe it was 1d but after updating the pal merchant and marketeer have the default 5 pals on sale only again.
I don't think i did anything different as I used vortex to install the mod just as i did before.
Just released updated version for 0.1.5.1 Seems like when the game updated recently it became newer then the mod and took precedence. Just had to recompile it to get it working again.
The game has 4 Pals that come with Models and some additional pieces that are not accessible naturally in the game. Also when obtained they come with a Punch attack that will cause them to bug out if used. But adding any other skills or using them at the basecamp functions just as normal.
DarkMutant, Dragontrophse, and then 2 Lion-like models being ElecLion and another similar variant of it that seems to be called BeardedDragon in the code despite it looking like an initial evolution of ElecLion. These 4 Pals are Experimental because the code isn't fully built out for them but still function for the most part despite that Punch attack they come with.
Reviewing the code it also looks like a bunch more Pals are expected like TentacleTurtle and so forth that will be breedable in the future. I don't think those have any models to reference so I haven't even tried to add those additional ones yet.
The Punch attack seems like it was an Evolution mechanic initially for them to evolve as their character model spins and scales in size (Gigantamax). Also an effect animation makes it look like a bunch of meteorite/dark balls are crashing into the place that was probably originally a particle effect for them evolving. But looks cool if it would work to cause damage to enemies.
Awesome job. Should have been a built in Palworld setting so that servers don't' experience players constantly logging out and back in to reload more pals.
I agree, also looks like they had some functionality for having stocks variating but was never fully built out yet. Item Merchants for an example can have 2+ different inventory listings but defining those section currently causes the UI to hang.
