    Hey everyone! I just uploaded a huge rework to this mod. Now you have the option to either set properties directly (SprintMaxSpeed = 1000.0) or you can multiply the value by a factor (2x). You can also change settings based on whether you are controlling your player character, a grounded mount (melpaca, Direwolf , etc.) or a flying mount (nitewing, jetragon)

    I like this new set up because adjusting the speed settings for all mounts by 1.5X creates a really nice balance that I personally feel the base game needs. Melpaca just felt so slow. Now, every ground mount can be 1.5X faster, so each mount still moves at a different speed and feels unique. You are not limited to simply setting every mount SprintMaxSpeed = 1500.0.

    I am still working on adding support for dedicated servers. that will be coming soon. I just wanted to get this huge change up as soon as I could.

    If you are having weird in game behavior and you also have GameplayTweaks  by yakuzadeso, then you need to make sure that all of the movement settings in the GameplayTweaks config.lua file are set the the default values

    Ground mount walk speed set to default number and 1x is faster than sprinting, having a hard time fixing that to make this work :s

    Edit: Apparently if it's set to 1.00 instead of 1.0 it breaks.. for some reason despite that being the same number technically with an extra decimal place.

    Edit 2: Ground/Flying Mount settings don't have default numbers listed so I can only hope that they are default already when the file is downloaded, otherwise I might have to change every multiplier to 1.1 or 1.01 just to avoid changing the values I don't want changed.

    Any chance you could update this mod for 3.2 It's getting harder and harder to get this mod to work properly.

    in 2.4 it had issues on boot up. it would lock my characters speed to 0 if i pressed the key binding and i would have to reboot the game which made the mod work the second boot up.

    But now it doesn't even load anymore.

    While the 2x speed mod by Gantz is good, It's not

    Customizable in a config file like this one
    includes mounts
    includes pitch forward speed (jump up and press and hold Q causing you to fly forward is fun)

    I did make this mod run once in 3.1 i think but then 3.2 came out and my hotkey doesn't even cause anything to work.

    hate having to go in an edit but guess can set it to what you want... I was trying to match this other mod that got deleted that didn't have to edit the settings or press a key to use the speed settings, but thanks got it working. But hop in the future got some with prebuilt settings you dont have to toggle on or off

    This mod does not seem to work with "UE4SS 3.0.1" does it specifically require "UE4SS 2.5.2" cause I did add it in mods.txt and I don't have gameplay tweaks mod but still the mod does not work for me

    Nevermind I figured it out I was dumb to not read I need to press a hotkey

    Hi when I mount flying pal, sprint in midair, jump off and galeclaw glide. The next time I sprint while mounting flying pal it has like 2x sprinting speed almost like it inherited my galeclaw speed permanently. Galeclaw level4 passive.

    For those whose mod does not work, open the mods file in the mods folder and enter [MovementSpeedSettings : 1] to make it work.

      In the mods.txt solved my problem. Every time I edited the /mod/MovementSpeedSettings/Scripts/Property.lua it would work the next time I played, but when I logged back in the next day it wouldn't. The change to the /mods/mods.txt solved the problem.

      to add to these facking unclear instructions,

      *\Palworld\Pal\Binaries\Win64\Mods - location of Mods.txt
      rightclick -> edit
      add the following line to the .txt file MovementSpeedSettings : 1

      cannot link the image cause nexus mods sucks as a whole but yea, example on imgur

    Hello again, I'm back . 😂 Going to be honest I have not played the past few days as I've been working on a mod of my own so I don't know exactly when it started but I've noticed 2 issues. It could have been an issue since we fixed it last time, I wouldn't have noticed until now because I'm usually restarting the whole game entirely anyway. Just spent the past 3 hours or so trying to decipher this again. If you need finer details or need me to try something else out let me know.

    I've tested with both Steam and Gamepass, same results.

    First, for me the key "F1" does nothing whether ChangesEnabledOnStartUp is true or not. Changing it to anything else still doesn't fix this issue. "F2" also doesn't print anything at all it seems?

    Second, when I change ChangesEnabledOnStartUp to true everything works perfectly on initial startup, just as intended. However, whenever I exit to the title screen to change settings or something then try to load back in it crashes hard. Restarting mods from the console in the title screen reloads the mod fine and prevents crash when loading back in, but the modifiers stop working entirely. I've ran through the gauntlet like I did last time trying to figure out what was wrong. This time unfortunately none of it worked.


    Other things I tried:

    Swapped between both current versions of UE4SS as well as all 3  2.5.1 and 2.5.2 versions.

    Adding it to mods.txt, which I knew wouldn't work because enabled.txt exists. With proper installation its unnecessary to even do this to mods.txt with any of these mods, from my experience.

    Ran the mod by itself, still same issues.

    Checked console for potential errors, nothing to be found, says its loading fine.

      same problem to me, also game tweak mod has make same crashed. I guess speed setting is problem.

      fixed - I delete pal analyse mod, no more crash .

    Got this Mod to work today, but every now and then I got these game freezes,  Turn Off / Deactivate with F1 stop the freezing.  Does anyone have this Freezes issues with this Mod? might be conflict with my other Mods
