Mechanics
- child pal is either the father's tribe or mother's tribe. No more average of some hidden value! (Foxparks + Arsox = 50% Foxparks or 50% Arsox)
- only pals can be bred with at least one common element (Foxparks + Arsox ; Pengullett + Relaxaurus ; Cattiva + Lifmunk)
- no random passive skills can be acquired by the child (only the ones from the parents)
- special breeding combinations still possible
- using Dekita's Mod Config Menu
- Mod Config Menu includes many options like breeding item, mating speed, rare-ness percentage, child's gender, etc
- you can also use the default breeding mechanic when selected at the Mod Config Menu
Roadmap
- test multiplayer, change it to server-side
- different cakes (e.g. Fire-Cake for a breeding that contains two pals with fire elements)
Known issues
- the visual of the egg is not the item you get
Installation
-Steam-
- Extract RE-UE4SS to ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Palworld\Pal\Binaries\Win64\ (Mods folder will appear inside Win64 folder)
- In the UE4SS-settings.ini file, set bUseUObjectArrayCache to false.
- Merge this mod with ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Palworld\Pal\Palworld\Pal\
-XBox Gamepass-
- Extract RE-UE4SS to ...\XboxGames\Palworld\Content\Pal\Binaries\WinGDK\
- In the UE4SS-settings.ini file, set bUseUObjectArrayCache to false.
- Extract this mod to a temporary
- Rename the Win64 folder in Pal\Binaries\Win64 to WinGDK
- Merge the modified Pal folder with the \XboxGames\Palworld\Content\Pal\ folder
