How to install this? the instructions are very unclear. "Simply copy the mod files into your LogicMods folder for details in Mod Config Menu." what is this mean? where is that folder and menu? Do i need to download another mod for that?
edit: i figure it out. both hair and eyes are working. thanks.
location of the folder if else anyone also can't find it: Steam\steamapps\common\Palworld\Pal\Content\Paks\~mods
Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I've tried everything to get this working and I've seen you ask this below so ill save you the trouble this time lol i am using the original version of the mod i am on game pass and no I'm not using vortex or any other mod manager i have mod menu installed and working just fine with other mods but this and your eyes mod doesn't seem to want to work for me
The original version does a flat replace on the objects so the issue is most likely due to the PAK file not being installed in the correct location. Should be located somewhere in the PAK folder. You can use subfolders to organize further but needs to be under that PAK folder atleast. Could try moving it to another folder also to see if that works.
If all else fails, may need to redownload the mod again as in rare cases the file could become corrupt or the download could have not completed all the way causing the file to be bad.
You can also try using the PalSchema version if you have PalSchema installed too. The JSON files would handle adding the entries then which would show as solid white squares if the PAK file didn't load properly.
So yeah, no hair physics. Tried both versions. Also tried LogicMods folder and normal ~mods folder. The hair shows up with every try, but the physics do not work under any circumstance
I've been learning more on physics and will be working on adding these just will take a good bit to add. Have to add skeletons with additional bones to each hair as well as doing weight painting from scratch on each and then custom animation blueprints for each to translate the physics over.
What version of the game do you have, Steam or Gamepass? And which version of the download are you trying to use? With which version of UE4SS and PalSchema? Lastly are you using Vortex or any other Mod Manager to install this with?
Thank you for the amazing and hard work for the hair mod! I do have a issue however and it could most likely just an error on my end but I can't seem to get the physics to work properly. I am using Steam and the Original version since I do not know what PalSchema is so most likely I don't have it install. Thank you for your time!
That is probably due to the differences in the skeletons and animations. I try to keep my mods matching the structure of the game so it allows for more mix and matching but big replacements usually require custom pieces to be added like skeleton and animations which then makes different mods not work together.
May want to check out the xMog content as that may work a bit better if they have Renamon or others added to it. Not sure what all is out as I'm slowly getting back into modding again.
