I've released the 2.0 update for the statue mod, which updates the TruePower versions, and I'll make the standalone effects available in another mod in case people want to mix colors or add the effect to the gold version of the statues. However, the gold version hasn't received an update yet as I'll be working on a new effect to apply to this pattern. No Effect Bug: If the effect isn't working for you, uninstall the mod and check if the statue has the default flame or try create a singleplayer world to test it, it can be a server problem if the server statues doesn't have the flame the effect can't be applied.
For people that have the problem of effect not working or else: Destroy your Statue of Power if you already have build one in your base and build a new one. It will refresh the mesh/effect and everything will works just the way the mod intended. That is all.
Unfortunately, that did not work on our dedicated server. For some reason though, all the statues you find scattered throughout the world, actually have the effect working perfectly, just none of the ones built by players. The only other place it seems to work for us is on single player. (v.v) I really wish I knew what made the devs remove the flame on the statues from dedicated servers. First we lose our viewing cages and now our cool mod effects. I understand doing it for official, but private dedicated servers should get the option to pick. I only have 5 of my friends who play on this server, and even with the like 8 full bases built, it still runs great, and could definitely handle a few flames. Sorry rant over. Mod is still top notch though, not his fault the devs weren't able to think ahead on this one. Fingers crossed that dedicated servers get more options like these in a future update at some point. <3
Like all your other mods this one is a banger, only problem I have is I can't get the cool new effects to show up. The mods still works perfectly just like in the last version, so I'm really not really sure why it's doing that.
someone else just reported me that too but only 2 people untill now, i still don't know if there's a problem with more people or just few people is having this problem, i need more information to know what's going on, but i'm investigating, can u send me message on discord?
It does not. Ironically, I had already checked before you asked. When I was looking at your mod I saw how yours had the blue flame and then when I installed your mod, I noticed there was no flame. Since I had really paid it no mind before now, I really couldn't remember if my statue had one all along or not. So to check to see if it was the game or the mod, making the flame not appear, I went ahead and uninstalled it to check. In both situations there was no flame in his hand, so I'm honestly very confused as to why mine is different from most everyone else's game.
I rent a dedicated server. When I have time later today, I'll try to get on and check the statue in single player to see if the flame is present on that one. I can shoot you a message on Discord when get the chance to test it. Just message me your SN on here whenever and I can go ahead and send you the friend request.
If it isn't much more difficult, would it be possible to match the flame with the colors as well? I really like the pink and would really like to see it with a pink flame also. Thank you for this mod regardless.
