To everyone who sends me screenshots of Windows Defender marking it as a Trojan, please read this above sticky post. If you don't want to use the tool, don't use it. It is safe to use, as confirmed by many other users on this forum. If you don't trust them and don't want to risk it (there is zero risk, btw) then don't use the tool. Perhaps one day I can have enough money to make the application signed so it stops giving false positives.
Unsigned applications will give false positivies as they do not have a digital certificate.
If you're having trouble cloning pals and getting this working. I recommend backing up the save file and editing the `Level.sav` in the `AppData/Local/Pal` folder, For a long time I couldn't work out why it wasn't cloning pals but I had just copied the `Level.sav` to the desktop and tried to modify that. This uses some auto-backup system that tries to write to the `Player` folder inside the save FOLDER, so if you don't have that it wont work right.
Hi, I have the same problem after searching a little by myself and doing some tests I found a solution while waiting for the problem to be resolved : Try to first load a backup Save and then your main file for me it works
From what I can tell, the issue is the newly-added "Mercy Hit" passive not being registered by PalEdit. It doesn't show up on Pals, you can't edit them at all if they have it and you also can't save any other edits.
The only solution so far is to not change any Pals with Mercy Hit - ideally, you'll want to sell or butcher them to remove them from the save file entirely. Otherwise, just ignore them when using PalEdit.
You can edit them. Just dont touch the slot for Mercy Hit. My Katress had only that passive in the top left slot. so i changed the slots other than that. Also was able to cap her lvl, rank and soul power up. Make your changes without changing mercy hit and all should be fine. back up that save though just in case. Took me a 2nd try to get the rank and power up saved.
Just manually download it, save the contents of the zip file to a folder and run the exe. Go to File > Load your save. should be Level.sav file in the directory that opens up (may have to go in two folders to see it.)
