It seems the dev decided to switch to a different compiler, which make mod incompatible in order to mod the game you need to switch to the mono compiler branch. the game is the same you don't miss any content by switching to mono branch, probably better performance on IL2CPP branch.
-In order to use mods, you need to be on a Mono branch of Outward. -On Steam: Right-click Outward in your Steam library, and choose: Properties > Betas > "default-mono - Public default branch (mono) -copy and paste Assembly-CSharp.dll to game dir\Outward\Outward_Data\Managed -Not tested on Hardcore mode
millenna, I really love this mod; have you had any luck with updating it, or has the game changed a lot, making it difficult? I really hope you can because it's the most balanced weight mod I've seen, and I used this so much before the update :)
You're fine! Thanks for taking the time to update it! <3 I'm sorry for the extra trouble, but hopefully now the new system means no more headaches in the future. :) I hope you have a good day.

like everyone else i love this mod. also like everyone else it doesnt work since the new patch. could you also make a super light version that is like 5 for pouch and 10 for backpack?
Any update about making the mod work with the new patch? I feel like I'm missing a limb playing without it. Thanks for putting in the effort in advance!
Side note: I tried rolling back the version of the game by going into: properties<betas and changing default-mono but for some reason it still doesn't work while other mods do. (It won't let me start the game, it gets stuck after the "made with unity" logo appears) Is there a way to fix this?

definitely a game breaker/deal breaker...
damn this was hard to find
don't use direct assembly edit mods. they are incompatible with other mods and will break every update.
@millenna, just use BepInEx dude. Why are you doing it like this?
Happy you like the mod and enjoy outward.
