Is Reshade 4.5.0 needed to work with outward? When I start it with steam I get a quick reshade popup at the top then the game closes back out and reopens without it. When doing it with r2modman I don't get the popup at all. I installed the files with the latest reshade but not sure if it actually changed anything.
If your game does not launch with ReShade, then you probably have Steam Overlay enabled. To solve this: Go to outward in your Steam library, right click, go to Properties and untick the box saying "activate Steam overlay while in-game.

So after Part 1, Step 3 when you select the Direct3D 10+ a window pops up afterwards asking you to select a Effect Package to install, there will be a list and at the top is "Standard Effects" that is checked and under the "Standard Effects" is "SweetFx by CeeJay.dk" and has a little back box by it.
I unchecked the "SweetFx" to be completely empty because I wasn't sure if it should be checked since it was not mentioned in the Installation Steps. So the reshade was not doing anything in game and I was confuse as to why.
I reinstalled and left the window that popped up exactly as it was. Leave "Standard Effects" checked and the little black box by "SweetFx".
Hello, Thanks for this mod. However, this mod does not work for me. Can you tell me if it's normal that the mod doesn't work with the version I just downloaded ? It's ReShade_Setup_4.9.1 I have problems with : V UI Mask MaskTex and displaydepth fx for example
can confirm it's working 100% without problems for me, december 2020. it's perfect. gives the game that little *pop* to really get those vibrant, beautiful colours. thank you.
