Thanks a lot for this mod, it is great. More than anything to have all your buff timers together. And to make "Call to Elements" useful was a brilliant idea as well. I was wondering if it is possible to add food / potion buffs included in all this too? Had a look at the files a little bit and I can understand that it is way too much work, since there are a LOT of food and potions and effects, but it would be really nice to have them included too.
Thank you for the mod. thumbs up. using on R2modman
Just FYI for others, this conflicts with "ClassFixes Part 1" by 'Stormcancer'
To make these edits work, I opened the xml's to compare them in both mods and made the edits to ClassFix (since that mod is much bigger, also the file has some extra coding that looks like a game update, but could just be that mod). I'm new to the game so the main thing I wanted was more time on rags and varnishes. They wore off way too quick for my liking. Cheers
no real way to make an on/off config. You can just delete any files for changes you don't want or you can open the files with notepad++ and make any changes you want.
So this needs sideloader, which totally bricks my game. I am on the mono branch. Mods that don't rely on sideloader are working. As soon as I disable sideloader, it blows up. Looks like the original author left and even shut down the source code repo on github. How are you still getting your mods to load using sideloader? I've tried 3.8.4 and 3.8.2 (as I saw forum posts that say this behavior started with 3.8.3). Your sideloader requirement link pushes over to thunderstore where I tried using r2mm to load the mods. Is that the issue? Should I install it manually?
3.8.4 sideloader should work. The annoying thing is thunderstore uses a weird file format which will not manual install well unless you know exactly where everything goes. The easiest thing to do would be to download r2modman and install bepinex and sideloader from the modmanager. you can then download this mod from there also. it seems all outward modding has moved to thunderstore now. hope this helps
Thanks for getting back to me. I thought this is what I had done, but I'm gonna retrace my steps. I wasn't originally on the mono branch, and then it seemed like it wouldn't recognize the Definitive Edition on Steam. Just one issue after another. I'll work at it some more. Thanks again.
also make sure you are installing everything in the right game folder. steam will install the base game and the definitive edition side by side. you have to choose which version to launch in steam. I deleted to base game folder to eliminate confusion.
