About this mod

A few selection of enchantments for shields, usually ignored by players, using a "risk managment" mechanics through enchantments (The Soroboreans).

Permissions and credits
This mod required BepInex and SideLoader pre-installed and the DLC "The Soroboreans" to work, Then just extract the downloaded zip file into the "Outward/BepInEx/plugins" folder.

"Little" Premise:
The idea about this mod is to give a purpose to some shields ignored since the game release, usually those shields are outmatched by others found in late-game with better stats/effects, i have used a "risk managment" mechanic to try revamp such shields making it an alternative for some builds rather than just boosting their stats and outmatching the actual endgame shields (basically repeating the same issue).
This mechanics could still require LOTS of re-balance or even resulting absolutely unwanted, so constructive comments about rebalance/suggestion are welcome.

About the mod:
This mod introduce enchantments (using the first DLC: The Soroboreans' incense mechanic, DLC required) for the following shields and recipes:
Mushroom Shield (and is legacy variant Spore Shield): West Far/Comet Incense.
Wolf Shield: South Far/Sylphina Incense.
Steel Shield: South Close/Apollo Incense.
Crimson Shield: North Far/Morpho Incense.
Tower Shield: West Close/Pale Beauty Incense.
Palladium Shield
(but NOT the Fabulous Palladium Shield): East Close/Luna Incense.

As you probably have noted all the mention pillars position use just one for enchantment, since i'm still testing it for minimize the item/time used.

What do the enchantment?
All the mentioned enchantment add a block effects always active on the enchanted shield which will deal damage to enemies (but NOT impact except fot the tower shield) and a minor damage and impact on player, this mean you will deal damage of various elements based on the shields which you are using for blocking, but receive part of such damage too alongside impact so you will deal damage when blocking but also be more likely to be staggered, knocked down and damaged.
This shields should be used with a specific build around armor of such elements (for example the wolf shield will deal ethereal damage to enemies and YOURSELF so using the Wolf Knight armor set will be more effective) at the same time rather than lowering you overall impact resistence the shields will deal you a specific amount of impact at every block, so wearing high resistant impact armor will be more effective.
