Why was 1.5 archived? I'm just getting back to this game after some time away and don't plan on upgrading to DE. Is 1.4 still the right version to use for original Outward?
Hey! I noticed you're still using Partiality, despite that not being recommended for over a year now. Just wanted to give you a heads up that I will be taking down the Partiality Wrapper some time soon, so you may want to consider swapping to BepInEx with the rest of us.
I understand wanting to stick with what you know, I did the same thing for a while, but I highly recommend swapping over to BepInEx. The differences between Bep and Partiality are trivial, and it should only take you minutes to swap over your mods once you're familiar.
If you need any help with the process don't hesitate to ask me, you can either PM me here or (even better) join the Outward Discord and talk in the modding channel.
We have a quick start guide here for BepInEx: https://outward.gamepedia.com/Getting_Started_Developing_Mods#Creating_a_Mod
As for patching, BepInEx does come with MonoMod but it is recommended to use Harmony for your patches instead, as it is more powerful and more compatible with other mods too. Again, let me know if you need any help swapping over to those.
If you don't want to swap over at all, that's fine I guess, but just wanted to give you a heads up since every else has swapped over to BepInEx now.
Thank you so very much for this handy little mod!!
On various occasions I too have been at a cookpot/kitchen or using an alchemy station when the 'Manual Recipe' option is just suddenly gone. However it doesn't require uninstalling the mod, just quit to main menu and reload and it SHOULD fix it. It's an annoying little bug but not frequent enough that it will keep me from using the mod.
For anyone looking for more detailed install directions check out this link: https://outward.gamepedia.com/Installing_Mods and place this mods .dll file and .txt file here: Outward\BepInEx\plugins\
Hey, I added to the bug report, but basically you can just look at the survival crafting -> manual crafting in the menu, and then go to cooking/alchemy crafting and manual crafting will be back. Temporary fix until/if the mod gets fixed. :D
hey, been using this mod since 2020.07.04 and loving it. i just noticed that this mod removes the Manual Recipe option from Alchemy at least, i didn't test cooking.
i realized i could make a basic incense and crafted those, then i wanted to use those incense to craft another incense, but i didn't know the recipe. so i looked it up on the internet to see if i had the ingredients. when i went to try and manually craft, the option did not exist. i removed this mod's .dll and started up the game again and the Manual Recipe option is back.
thanks a mill for this awesome mod. will use it whenever i don't need to manual craft. if i can provide any more info, just let me know. best wishes!
Thanks for reporting this issue. Please open a bug so that other users are also aware of this. I probably won't have the time to fix it, but if anybody gets around to fixing it, just drop me a message and I'll incorporate it.
Tried to install it, but did not work. First time I did export file into "plugins" (did not work) then in every folder in the game directory (did not work either). Can I ask for some more details where it should be extracted?
So when you're using splitscreen, this mode seems to break manual crafting for the splitscreen player ocassionally. Found that reloading the save sometimes fixes it, and sometimes reloading the area.

Sorry, I just assumed that everyone would want to switch to the Definitive Edition.
The display of alchemy and cooking recipes has been added in the Definitive Edition and is therefore not required anymore.
There is sill an updated version for the Definitive Edition in case you prefer to use the alchemy and cooking tabs instead.
i've been using this mod for quite awhile and just wanted to stop by to thank you and Endorse again. i love this mod, very much appreciated!!
