Reset your keybinds to default. If that doesn't work, delete the file "Outward/Player0_Keymappings.xml"
If your Mods are not working or being weird:
Backup your "Outward\SaveGames\" folder.
Delete the "Outward" folder completely.
Verify files in Steam or re-download the game.
Follow instructions to install my mods as outlined in the Description.
Be careful adding back Mods which have not been updated since before December 2020, they may not be working and may cause problems with other mods too.
I just installed this mod and it tanked my fps is there anything I could be doing wrong? I even tried a fresh install for this mod and the game. And my game is set to the mono version as well.
Is it normal that after I go into a dungeon, my character marker is now in the incorrect spot on the map? I mean, is it a known bug or its new? If its not, how do I fix it or prevent it from happening?
It happens when you move in any direction, whether the map is open or hidden. The only way to stop the markers from moving so far is to auto run and use the pad or the cursor to direct yourself. I couldnt stop it from moving and I cannot not use the keys to move around, especially during fights, so i just accepted the fact that there is nothing i can do about it. All we can do it wait for it to be fixed.
Thank you so very much Sinai for yet another awesome mod that's up to date, works perfectly, and has a super easy install with clear directions! Two thumbs up and endorsed!
Not sure if you are looking for suggestions at all but an idea would be to add more color/shape personal marker icon options. To be clear, that isn't a request exactly (I'm sure you've got plenty to keep yourself busy) it was just a thought really - though I'd download that in a heartbeat!
Hey, just wanted to reply so you don't think I've ignored all your messages. Thanks for all the kind works, really does mean a lot.
I'm currently pretty busy with some other projects, one of which is a VR mod for Outward. Not sure if/when I will have time to look at your requests but probably won't be for a little while.
As for the thing about Combat HUD (size of the target infoboxes on 4k resolutions), that's a fair point, I can probably look into some kind of a fix for that. The only problem is I've lost the original project I used to make the Combat HUD interface (in the unity editor), which was pretty dumb of me, but it makes it hard to change it properly haha.
Well you're welcome! IMO you deserve way more praise than you get for everything that you do for the Outward modding community.
And I am in no rush for any responses so no worries. My "requests" were meant more as inquiry's into if you possibly have any insight on how I can adjust things on my end or just general ideas I thought may be worth sharing. My intention was not to add my personal desires to your 'to-do' list. I am sorry if they came across that way. The possibility of an Outward VR mod is super exciting and sounds like a massive amount of work! Good luck with that and I will keep a curious eye out for it!
On the topic of infobox sizes on 4k resolutions, I am sorry to hear about your lost project files, that's got to be frustrating. If you come up with a fix I would appreciate any tips, especially since it's an issue for me with a few mods, but I can make due if needed (it's not a deal breaker on using the mods). Thanks for the response and, again, good luck with all of your projects!
