Tutorial:
(C:)> Program Files (86x) > Steam > Steamapps > Outlast > OLGame > Config and drop the files.
Make a backup if you want to get back to normal.
I recommend that the mod be run with the graphics at maximum and the gamma at 1.53 (if you have a potato-id computer, ignore it).
The mod will only run in the main game and on normal difficulty.
The whole game has been properly tested, all parts are glitchless possible.
This mod is not directly focused on visual details but focused on mechanics and play style.
This is my first mod that I produced for Outlast, check the details:
Enemies run faster.
The Wallrider is the fastest enemy in the game.
enemies break down the doors in 4 hits.
Enemies now have a 70% chance to grab you.
The range is slightly larger
Chris has a slight chance of finding you in lockers, especially in down of beds.
Even doing WaterHops, Chris will still grab you in Citern2.
Enemies are instakill.
Enemies listen better.
Sometimes an enemy can chase you in a place where it wouldn't make sense for him to chase you.
Trager is no longer stupid and now he can dribble you.
Trager is now the best listener.
Player Changes:
Added 20/10 FOV with or without camera.
Miles is slightly faster (almost unnoticeable).
Miles walks faster.
Miles running or walking animation is synchronized with your speed.
Walking on water is now slower.
Jumping while running or walking does not give you a boost.
Miles jumps higher.
Is too harder to get B-Hops.
Batteries last much longer, but you can only charge one.
Camera zoom is deeper.
Night vision illumination radius is slightly larger.
Night vision size is smaller and rounder.
Zoom with night vision clarifies more.
Comments:
Rarely, an enemy can hit you and not deal damage, this is a glitch that when trying to solve it, I was unsuccessful.
Night vision inside the lockers is unfortunately strange.
Dodges are practically impossible and I wouldn't advise you to try.
Don't run it on insane if you don't want to suffer.
The FOV is not changed in cutscenes because most are scripted, so they already have a predetermined FOV.
