I've tried installing this using the Vortex mod manager, but it doesn't seem to be working. Does it not work on an existing save? Hoping someone can help me out, thanks!
I found a probably unintended consequence of installing this mod.
Firstly, you have this mod installed and you already have 10 monsters tamed. As you know, you will get a prompt where the game asks you to replace a monster if you capture an 11th. If you prepare the monster that you just captured, the item will not appear in your inventory. You can only obtain items if you prepare one of the monsters already in your tamed monster list.
The problem does not go away even after you remove the mod. You must reduce the number of monsters in your tamed monsters list down to the default 6, and then you will be able to get items from the 7th monster.
can confirm that if you prepare straight away you still get the items. So you just need to make sure that when you cap the monster that you know already if you want to keep it or not

I don't have a hard evidence, but findings pointing to that it's hard-coded:
- Missing variable definition for this capacity
- In the save file the learned skill list is of length 5 (upon new game) even though there is only one preset skill.
I'm not sure if extending this list with save editing can bypass this.
