my question has nothing to do with this mod but do you know of any way to get rid of the one liners voice acting? the story stuff is ok but when I have to read the non-voiced stuff and I hear dumb one-line words when talking to minor NPCs is very annoying lol. just wondering thanks
Hi, can you tell me how you did this? At least a few pointers? For the longest time I wanted to change the 2nd battle music in Bravely Default 2 (the game changes the normal battle music in the latter half, and I wanted to change it back to the original battle music). It should be a simple task on paper, but I just couldn't do it. I downloaded a tool that lets me open AWB files and mess with the HCA sound files stored inside, but nothing seemed to work.
The game uses AWB files to store BGMs just like Octopath Traveler, and they both use the same engine, so the process should be similar. I don't need to know how to make a pak file (if it's not necessary), I just want to know how to change music in a game like this. This has puzzled me for a while!
It actually has nothing to do with the music files themselves, all I did was change which file it played. A very simple value change. No idea how it works in BD2 as I haven't looked into it, but you're welcome to join the Discord (link in the mod description, BD2 is part of it now), maybe someone else there can help.
It doesn't seem to be working for me? I can't tell if it's because I have another mod installed (since none of the ones I do have specify up front about using EnemyGroupData)? Or it doesn't affect save files that aren't brand new, even though the other mods have taken effect. I really wish it was working, sounded cool
What mod is it? That's the most likely scenario. Have you tried without the other mod loaded? Save files don't save any info related to what's changed here.
