Agel500, Hello, good evening from Spain. This mod is fantastic, and I like it because I can give the game a more realistic simulation on Mars, and it's a great adventure to work at the base, like being outside during a sandstorm, which is incredible. Is there an update for the mod? My advice is to wait until May, when Pyramid and Lukas will release the big, important update that will introduce new content, and most likely, many of the mods that currently exist won't work. From what I've read, they have improved and changed the game's programming code, and saved games won't work, so we'll have to start a new game from scratch. My wish is for something similar to this, and also, my suggestion is to make the tools last longer, with less damage, lasting throughout the game. I would like to see and obtain mods to add more realism to the game. THANK YOU VERY MUCH for this great mod, and I hope that the next mod will be even better and add more realism to the game. Greetings
Hi, thank you, I am glad you enjoy it. Don't worry about the upcoming update. It is unlikely that it will break the mod. The mod is designed in a way that it is very hard to break. It has survived already a couple of major game updates, it should survive next too.
Hmm....interesting. I use Vortex for all my mods and Vortex adds the file information from Nexus to the folder names (version, file and mod IDs, etc). It seems that, for ONLY this mod, having a folder name other than TimeScaleMod causes it to not work. It is weird because none of my other mods are like that, not even the Configuration Manager. That means, unless the mod author allows the folder to be generic like most other mods, this mod CANNOT be installed and managed with Vortex.
I was able to bring to work. I had edited the .cfg file and mybe I broke something. I reload the original .cfg and edit there only my values for the times. Now is working. I'm not sure wether is problem to add comments or the last line not enter <return> that there is a new empty line. I don't know. Or when the editor add one hidden character what the mod don't like. I edit with the windows editor "Editor".
this sounds plausible. I am going to update the mod soon and replace my own config file reading implementation with the BepInEx standard method. It should be better.
Thanks for this, it really fixes the one aspect of the game that was annoying. Can also confirm that it works on the latest version.
It's important to ensure the correct file structure. Unzip the BepInEx version you're using and only copy the contents into the Occupy Mars game folder (not the unzipped folder ie BepInEx_X64_xxversion number, as this won't work). Then create a plugins folder within the BepInEx folder and paste the unzipped mod contents into the plugins folder.
i have the same problem, it no longer works, after consulting with an experienced modder, who tried to install himself and use in the game, it didn't work for him either, i was his opinion that the devs have changed the code in an update at some stage and the mod needs updating, he also said he has experienced this before many times in other games, i would defer to his experience as i have never used a mod before, but this game is mind bending at the speed it runs, and i cannot play for long before i get a massive headache, love the game, but the speed is insane, hope someone can fix the mod or update it. thanks.
Hi I made the mod for a friend on his computer. Now I have purchased the game for myself too. I will look into it and perhaps update it. But I doubt that they made a breaking change. The mod only changes two parameters that are deep in the games core. I don't expect any changes at this place at all. But i will check it out. There could be rather a problem with reading the config file though. I am going to change to a different, more stable config mechanism.
edit: tested on my side. Works on my side. are you sure you have installed it properly? both files dll and cfg go into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Occupy Mars The Game\BepInEx\plugins\TimeScaleMod make sure they are in a subfolder TimeScaleMod, not simply in plugins folder.

I just started a new game in real time, that's how I like those kind of games.
Thank you so much :D
EDIT: count 740 minutes a day for correct day duration

Loaded the game and it worked straight away.
