Bound gear in Oblivion kinda sucks. Morrowind's bound armor and weapons all had enchantments that made them worth using even at higher levels. This mod adds back these enchantments.
The enchantments are as follows:
- Bound Cuirass/Helmet: +10 Heavy Armor and +10 Light Armor
- Bound Boots: +10 Speed
- Bound Gauntlets: +10 Hand to Hand
- Bound Greaves: +10 Agility (in Morrowind, gauntlets were separate, so this enchantment effect was originally on the right gauntlet, while the left gauntlet got +10 Hand to Hand)
- Bound Shield: +10 Block
- Bound Weapons: Absorb weapon skill +10 for 10 seconds (unfortunately, Oblivion does not allow for fortify skill/attribute enchantments on weapons)
There are two versions, one which makes all bound armor light, and one which makes them all heavy. By default, bound armor is an inconsistent mix of both.
A side effect of the new enchantments means the blue glow added in the remaster no longer applies because it is replaced by the shader of the new enchantments. Not sure how to fix, please let me know if you can help.
