--- 1. WHAT DOES THE MOD DO  ---

✓ More weapon variation (no more 500 daggers!)
✓ Hooded Bandits, Marauders and Vampires (similar to Hooded Outlaws mod)
✓ Blackwood Armor added to loot pool
✓ Brusef Amelion Armor added to loot pool (+renamed, buffed a bit)
✓ (regular) Amber Armor added to loot pool
✓ (regular) Madness Armor added to loot pool
✓ Enemies now actually wear Blunt or Blade weapons depending on their skill investment
✓ More loot and better rarity when you lvl higher
✖ Nerfed Daedric, Glass, Ebony drop rate. These are now very rare!
✖ Vanilla only has a 25% drop chance on greaves and gauntlets. Now increased to 75%!
This mod edits the loot tables of:

  • (Blackbow) Bandits
  • Marauders
  • Vampires
  • Conjurers
  • Necromancers

The enemies can now drop:
Gems, (enchanted) Rings, (enchanted) Amulets, Food, Soul Gems, Lockpicks, Repair Hammers, Nuggets, Scrolls, Alchemy equipment, Silverware, Welkynd Stone and Varla Stone.

Existing armor, weapons and arrow loot tables have been heavily edited:
[ADDED] regular Amber, regular Madness, Blackwood and Brusef Amelion (now renamed Adamantium) armors have been added to the loot pool.
[ADDED] Goldensaint, Dark Seducer, Amber and Madness weapons have been added to the loot pool.
[NERFED] Getting endgame armor has been nerfed. It's harder to get Daedric, Ebony, Glass armor.

This mod divides rarity of loot into 3 stages:
Early game loot (player lvl 1 - 14)
Mid game loot (player lvl 15 - 24)
End game (player lvl 25+)

Each stage has their own drop chances of loot. See google spreadsheet for the drop chances.

Hooded Enemies:
Similar to the Hooded Outlaws mod. This mod adds hoods to Bandits, Marauders and Vampires:
  • Bandits wear low tier hoods (tan, brown, grey) [50% chance]
  • Blackbow Bandits wear black hoods. [50% chance]
  • Marauders wear Blue hoods (renamed Mage hood) [33% chance]
  • Vampires wear Red silk hoods [50% chance]

--- 3. OPTIONAL FILES ---
ValuableSilverware.esp
Makes silverware great again! Now silverware is actually worth something! See google spreadsheet silverware tab for gold values.

GoldSaintDarkSedWeapRebalance.esp
Gave a small rebalance for the Dark Seducer and Golden Saint weapons. Nothing too crazy. See google spreadsheet for the stat changes.

--- 4. INCOMPABILITY WITH OTHER MODS ---

Mod is incompatible with other mods that edit the loot tables of the aforementioned NPC's. Such as:
Hooded Outlaws
Descension - Vanilla-Plus Loot Balance

--- 5. FAQ ---
Q. "This mod isn't balanced at all?"
A. It is more balanced than vanilla, because in vanilla you get Daedric and Glass at lvl 21 guaranteed. You will earn a lot of gold selling those armor and weapons at that level. This mod nerfs the amount of high tier armor and weapons that drop but adds other drops. If you want even less loot and less variance in loot you could download mod: Descension.

Q. "Why rename and rebalance Brusef Amelion armor?"
A. Brusef Amelion is a really bad armor in terms of stats. Each piece weights 21 and has armor rating comparable to chainmail. I buffed the armor to be between Mithril and Elven gear. I also wanted to rename it since Brusef Amelion name is too tied to a specific quest.

Q. "Can you make it so enemy's drop less of "X" and more of "Y""?
A. I won't be doing optional main files because 1. that is a lot of work. 2. You can never satisfy everyone. 3. Fixing a bug on 1 main file has to be repeated on others, so too much work.

--- 6. KNOWN BUGS ---

1. Quest specific NPC's may have vanilla loot tables. Because they are unique enemies.
2. Installed mod and enemies still have vanilla loot tables? just sleep in bed for 3 days and the interior cells should update them with the new loot tables.

Happy looting!
