I think you were going for a crocodillian/alligator sound, but all I hear is a lion. If it was more reptilian, maybe monitor lizard like, I'd use it.

I did but that makes every other creature really loud and if I fight a deadroth + lets say a scamp, the scamp sound dominated the deadroth sound

Dude any chance you could please restore the mystical sound that happens when you use a Welkyn stone or Varla stone? In the original game theres a sound when you use them but in the remaster theres nothing.... I beg of you to correct this (Using the same sound the original uses)

That is beyond my capabilities unfortunately.
I can only currently replace audio, not add new stuff to the game

The lead up rumble is really nice but the augmented lion(?) roar that follows does not quite gel since we already have such strong associations with that sound already. I dont know what you did with the lead up rumble but it has this slight otherworldly quality to it, that makes the creature feel alien? could some of that be applied to the roar?

When comparing to the original and trying to hear what makes that one sound "more lizardy" (or atleast not like a lion) it seems to be more "Breathy" and "Hissy". Sorry for those hardly-even-laymen terms.

EDIT: wow you must go crazy doing this, ive just listened to these roars over and over again and they all start sounding the same after a bit XD Like your brain starts not being able to tell the difference, like when someone repeats a single word ad infinitum.

Yeah essentially the hardest part is how the game audio augments the output. Something can sound very different in the mixer than in the actual game.
