About this mod

Adds new Minotaur Tribes across Cyrodiil

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Theres a mod very similar to this for oldblivion, and until a better version comes out I figured id make my own.

This mod adds several new minotaur camps across Cyrodiil. Some are hostile, some are friendly, all of them are dangerous.

It also adds a couple new types of minotaurs including the chief, shaman, and calf. Theyre very strong together, but theyre also guarding very good loot. They arent leveled and will very much kill you if you are a low level, but maybe you can steal their treasure.

Minotaur Tribes are often led by powerful bosses. It can be very worth it to hunt and kill these chieftans, but they won't go down easy.

Frankly, there's not enough overworld content in the game. Everything sends you into caves. I also missed the giant camps from skyrim, so these camps are inspired by those.

Unique Minotaurs and Tribes

Gnoll
- Gnoll's meeting camp now lives up to its name. Gnoll is meeting several other shamans here, and they are all different elemental minotaur shamans.

Broken-Horn Tribe - These minotaurs remember their noble roots and are still loyal to the Empire, despite everything it's done to them. Their King is Gorihaus Broken-Horn, a direct descendant of Morihaus and St. Alessia Herself. He claims to be king of all minotaurs. This is a friendly camp, and the most fleshed out. Here you will find Aurellia Venilius, a Minotaur Researcher. If you talk to her she might give you her notes on the minotaur tribes. She also is a merchant and sells several unique items. The camp is northish of Skingrad, just to the east of Goblin Jims cave

Trossan Tribe - A smaller tribe, they are located at the Trossan Camp, north of the Ayleid ruin Mackamentain.

Darkhorn Tribe - Nestled in some Ayleid ruins just off the road west of Gottshaw Inn, the darkhorn tribe ambushes travellers on the road. Chieftan Dzulghaz seems to have some fascination with ayleid ruins in particular, and his shamans seem to have dark magicks

Redhoof Tribe - The Redhoof tribe are skilled hunters, and travel far for their lord Hircine. Chieftan Knallrach is taking his eldest son on a ritual hunt to prove his worth. They are camped out south of Kvatch.

Ice-Blood Tribe - East of Dragonclaw rock, there's a large encampment of frost minotaurs led by Chieftan Bhulff Ice-Blood.

Dreadhorn Clan - An ancient tribe of minotaurs, they ally themselves with the reachfolk, who always seem to be expanding their territory. The dreadhorn clan has sacked cities and waged war many times thoughout their long history. They are currently led by Chieftan Ralzgur Dreadhorn, far in the Jerall Mountains, northwest of a Daedric shrine to Hermaeus Mora

Carnihaus - Carnihaus also claims direct descent from Morihaus, though his claim is dubious. He took his name when he killed and ate his entire tribe, then he fled to an abandoned ruin south of Battlehorn Castle/west of wendir with some small amount of loyal warriors.

The Wanderer - Not much is known about him other than that he is very old, and very connected to nature. He wanders the woods and hills of the Colovian Highlands, and often visits with other Minotaurs. He usually visits the Broken-Horn tribe on Turdas. The wanderer is friendly, but also very strong. He might not start traveling until hes loaded in, his starting location is near enough to battlehorn castle to load him into the game from there.

Kynareth Minotaurs - South of Deserted Mine, there is a Shrine to kynareth (the same shrine the pilgrimage quest directs you towards). Near the shrine you can find a couple Kynareth priests camping with some friendly minotaurs.

Limenauruus
- Limenauruus is a giant, possessed, undead ghost minotaur. He is a world boss in ESO that I had to kill a 1000 times for minotaur armor, and frankly Im not done kicking his ass so I had to add him to this game. He can be found in the deepest part of Smokehole cave

All minotaur bosses have a unique minotaur horn you can take as a trophy from their bodies. The horns are worth a lot of money, and are also strong unique alchemy ingredients. I might add a quest in the future to collect them all.

If you use runtime editor you can use "player.setfactionrank minotaurfaction 1" to make it so the minotaurs arent immediately hostile to you, sorta like the giant camps in skyrim. The minotaur researcher and the priestess of kynareth can be asked their opinion about minotaurs, which will give you the option in game to toggle your minotaur faction rank without console commands

COMPATIBILITY

Fully compatible with other mods as long as they do not add anything to the same locations.
