Beggars become home invaders in the night. They may also sell you the goods they found.

Beggars will break into houses every night or stir up a scene to distract guards.
When night falls you will start to witness suspicious activities.

Beggars are vendors of their stolen goods.
(Their inventory may change often)
When following some beggars, you may be led to valuable stashes.
Beggars will also break into houses just to keep warm.
