Bless you, it always bugged me that all Oblivion Realms look like the deadlands. I understand it was probably a limitation of the time but this is what the remaster is all about.

I agree. They should have altered these realms, but they probably wanted to have original vibe as much as possible. It still wouldnt had hurt it. Im glad you like it thank you for downloading !

I was checking out peryite and boethias quests and your areas look a lot more unique and blue/green than mine with this mod. For me its like the sky is s till mostly red orange with a bit of a tint of green or blue and the lighting in general is still very red orange. it definitely changed a little bit but how did you get it to look like the screenshots?

Did it stay like that? For what i know if the in game time is at dawn (or maybe dusk aswell) like 05:00 the lighting might be bit different during changing from night-time to day time though the weathers i choosed should stay about the same no matter what. Try wait few hours (in game not irl lol) and see if it fixes it? Other than that, im not sure. You dont have any other mods that might make a conflict? There cant be but one weathertype at a time in a cell for what i have understood so the conflict should be very unlikely but you never know.

Yeah waiting was the first thing I tried. At first they became a little bit more like the screenshots but not quite the same. But then after waiting longer it went back to being basically completely red. Then waiting a bit longer gave me the slightly tinted skies again.
So basically each time i wait a little bit it alternates between being very red or mostly red but slightly tinted blue or green.

I dont think i have mods that should conflict since most of mine are like armor additions/repalcers. infinitium quests and some general clutter and player home mods. Maybe reshade could be an issue?

Edit: theres also the possibility that maybe i just need to keep waiting until different times but I did wait a lot so idk

Sounds to me that reshade could be the issue. But it should not affect on vanilla weathers to my understanding so this is really weird. Load earlier save and try again without reshade?

I dont have a save from that long ago. I installed all my mods on a fresh save and i have like 70 hours on it. I guess I could just try waiting to a better time of day or try without reshade/disable my reshade preset but i wont be able to hop on the game just yet

Alright. Hope you get it work right. Please do tell if disabling reshade helped.

Did you edit the weathers? Or just the regions chance of one of the vanilla DLC weathers you used here?

Latter. No weathers have been touched in any way. They stay as they are shown in the pictures though so no sudden weather changes back to default Deadlands weather etc.

I was asking because I want to do weather edits for oblivion over all, but I dont know where to start and the only answers I receive are usually one worded snide remarks. I personally would like to edit weathers across the board to be more cohesive in terms of lighting, ambient, and skycolors if that's even possible. Just lost on where I could start.

Then i'm sorry, but i can't help you since i don't know how to do that. Modding graphics seems to be a nightmare overall since it's different engine in remastered. This one was easy enough to do because it requiered only to change settings. Perhaps examine what has been made in other mods and look youtube if there is any guides available? There is a discord channel for nexusmods that has channel for modding OblivionR specificly if you didnt know already. Good luck :)

I'm quite sure it is since this does not touch in any records besides of the cells mentioned in the description and that one doesn't seem to do that. But you can always be sure by checking conflicts with xedit.

I checked for the conflicts and Climates Revised and my mod don't edit any of the same records from one another so it should be completely okay to use these two together!

Yeah i'm on the same boat with you. I actually made a mod for daedric shrines back in old oblivion, but it crashes the game when trying to use it with remaster.. Hopefully Bethesda will release official modding tools.

Sweet! This is one I had requested on Reddit. It always bugged me that they just reused Deadlands over and over throughout Oblivion.

I agree completely. Hopefully this gives some enjoyment then. There are so many missed opportunities there, but well. It's a remaster not a remake :D
