    How do you get it? When i tried to pick it up in my last playthrough it disappeared, i thought it was unobtainable.

      In my case i had to finish DLC and sword appeard on the pedestal behind the throne in Sheogorath Palace. I took it and it was in my inventory. I've read somewhere that some items never appears in inventory if you get them in specific lvl range (some kind of bug with items IDs I guess) but never lost an item that way. If you want to use console to get it ID is 0009669D, can't help you more :(.

      IS THAT WHAT THAT PEDESTAL IS FOR! It was driving me crazy i was googling trying to find out what the last quest was to fill the pedestal. Ill check my save and see if its there but it might have bugged because i picked it up when he died. Im doing a new playthrough so ill lyk.
