are the hitboxes altered in any way? i don't know if the normal running forward heavy attack actually hits multiple people like the animation would make you think or not so if it did i would want to keep that over the thrust. but if it doesn't then i'll use this because the thrust looks better
Another outstanding mod. I'm using longswords on my current playthrough and I was REALLY missing the shortsword frontal stab attack, this fit my needs like a glove. Thank you!

Basically, all the attack animations have been quite downgraded in the remaster. The onlly animations I find barely acceptablce are the two-handed axe ones. Consedering the modding abilities you have demonstrated here gives hope, so that someone somewhere would take up this endevour and fix all these horrid animations.
ESPECIALLY TWO-HANDED attack animations. It seems they didn't give a flying Fu* at all when they made those.
This is all based on personal bias ofc, but i believe that most TES players would agree would with me on this one.

I'm actually working on a full overhaul of the two-handed weapon animations right now. Some of the animations can be reused with tweaks, but others (like the forward power attack for claymores) need to be completely redone. How cool would it be to have assassination sneak attack for dagger using the animations from emporers assassination in game. Shame they didnt add that instead of stupid sprinting and glowing Sh*t for loot and boxes and text everywhere. Know thats completely unrelated to your mod and would require way more than changing an attack animation but seeing this couldnt help putting it out into the ether. Totally with you—I wanted killmoves too. Really disappointing they didn’t add them. And hey, leave the sleeping beggars alone! 😂 As for axes, I haven’t really looked at their power attacks yet. Are they not great? I’m working on the two-handed weapon overhaul right now, but once that’s done, I’ll take a look at them!
Not really sure about axes, havent used em yet but just love that animation. Know you r working on first person and some people was waiting to download wich i dont understand why but they look awesome with tfp, true first person mod i think its called since it uses third person animations and just wanted to share and say Thanks again.
Thanks! Actually, I just finished setting up a workflow yesterday that lets me create first-person animations too. I’ve never made first-person motions before, so they’ll probably be a bit rough at first—but I’ll do my best!

Otherwise, just look at the game Vermintide 2 and try to mimic how its weapon attack animations look and feel like.
