Very Thanks for this! If its not to hard and not need much works, its possible create a modular option (separate for equip/spell, level up, etc..)? Or maybe only option for hide equip/spell icon, thanks anyway :)
I just uploaded a modular version. Just remove ll files from the folder for each element you want to be able to see. :) Let me know if you encounter any issues!
Weird, this is not working for me. Installed using MO2 (like every other mod I am using), but I still see all the usual UI elements such as the minimap. Do I need to do something to make it work?
Could you please try installing it manually or move the three files on the folder to the mod's root in Mod Organizer? I'm afraid mod managers might not like the files being in a subfolder...
I tried that but still it didn't work. I have other PAK mods that also have their own sub folders, and they all work fine. One such example is Better Reticle, which uses the exact same folder structure as yours. So not sure what the problem is :/
I also use Better HUD and Better Reticle, so they're compatible, at least on my end. I don't know what the issue could be but I'll have a look if I can find something when I'm at home.
Nope, can't make it work at all. I tried installing it manually to the ~mods folder, tried again using MO2, but this time moved it to top spot in the priority list, tried turning off all my other UI related mods...nothing works. The only thing I could not do is to run the game completely vanilla because it just crashes to desktop. I'm sure the problem is my end, but with more than 80 mods installed and a bunch of utilities the task of finding out what is causing the problem is virtually impossible. Oh well. :(
I have noticed that Oblivion Remastered (or rather Unreal Engine?) has a weird way of loading mods. I think it loads them alphabetically but in descending order. That's why the name of my mod starts with an A, so it loads AFTER Better HUD. It's completely inverse to what one would expect. Or maybe my testing was bogus, who knows... Maybe it interferes with the way MO2 loads things in order. You could try renaming my mod to something starting with a Z, or getting rid of the 0s and the underscore at the beginning of the name (folder and files). I have used MO2 for over a decade before switching to Linux in September. I'm sure we can work this out. I am more than willing to troubleshoot this with you if you want me too. :)
Chiming in to say this also isn’t working for me with Better HUD and Better Reticle installed. I tried both removing the zeroes and adding a z to the file name and neither worked. I have a bunch of other mods as well so not sure what the conflict is. If it helps I’m using the Even Small OLED Compass version of Better HUD.
it worked for me by manually putting it in place. dont use the jank mod managers. try manually doing everything. less issues/conflicts that way. this method doesnt let you be lazy, but it works much better.
I can, at the moment, not really imagine any thing other than MO2 being at fault here. But Banjomir777 states that even manually installing the mod didn't work. MO2 has a tab on the right side called "Data" where it shoes the virtual file structure and all the files that are installed via MO2. Might be worth a look to see if my mod shows up there. One more thing to try would be to put the mod's files into the Better HUD folder. Sometimes that worked for other mods in my case.
I don't yet know enough about load order priorities of PAK files that I could offer more guidance.
I just checked the GitHub and MO2 hasn't been updated since August, so it doesn't have official support for games released since then. And with how different Oblivion Remastered is in a lot of ways we might just have to wait.
For MO2 i've same issues, but i've resolved just edit MO2 mod folder and put Absolute Immersion folder in Paks and not inside ~mods folder, so you can manage it with MO2
Example of structures: Default MO2 installation for this mod, NOT WORK: \Games\MO2 - OblivionRE\mods\Absolute Immersion\Paks\~mods\Absolute Immersion WORK: \Games\MO2 - OblivionRE\mods\Absolute Immersion\Paks\Absolute Immersion
It isn't. Check the Recommendations section of my description. This mod is somewhat meant as an add-on to Better HUD (especially the module that removes the compass entirely). Since I have been using that mod since I started playing the game I simply started building my mod from there. :)
I was previously using Better HUD - for OLEDs I disabled that mod and installed this one, but still getting a vanilla Compass... not very immersive. Was hoping to only need to run a single HUD mod. thanks to the other comments, I will go get better hud no compass.
Yup, like I stated in the recommendations, this is basically built to be used with Better HUD's no compass add-on. I'm actually considering disabling the compass in my mod too though. Like you, I actually prefer having to use as few mods as possible. For now, you have to combine them though.
Thank you! I'll take that as a compliment for my screen-archery skills because the visuals are actually 100% vanilla. :) The graphics settings are largely maxed out though, except for Shadow Quality (Medium), and I believe Foliage Quality is also reduced by at least one tier. DLSS is on Balanced, I believe, if not Quality. Maybe it's the FOV? Mine is set to 90 (or 95 in some of the shots). FOV can really make or break a photo/screenshot.
Any chance for a version where active effects can show? I dig the idea of just your health bars and any active effects that may occur, as those should all be hidden when not relevant anyways. :D
Edit: Ah, nevermind, I'm a buffoon. I see that this is already an option. Thanks homie :)

Do you have any other mods that might be interfering here? I'm a bit lost to be honest. :(

Your screens look amazing
If yes, can you reply with the added commands pretty please?
Nice mod btw, downloaded

It's a different experience for sure. Hope you like it! :)
