for people having crashes, it seems some shaders are capricious , for me ambiant light was doing the crashing , i suggest you go in the addon , list of toggle groups , settings , untick "apply all enabled technique" and then select only the shaders you truly need to be hid from th HUD , until i find a workaround
Wish this worked. But for me I have constant dark stripes flickering. Screenshots can't show it. Using Ultra PLus, I think it uses dlss framegen. Maybe the latest dlss version is unsupported? Idk. There was a recent Nvidia driver update.
Also, people have figured out a way to toggle UI with Shader Toggler. Seen on Rudy's reshade page, for example. So, can we use that ui it detects and mask it out? idk how this works
No alternative so far. I was talking about Shader Toggler that toggles HUD visibility. You can find it on many reshade mods like This One. It is packaged in the archive.

Probably just going to roll back my video drivers if I can, going to use 32.0.15.6094, dated 8/14/2024, on my 3090
This mod is too essential for me to care about whatever the new drivers are doing, didn't notice any real improvement anyway
Rolling back my video drivers fixed the crash for me
Also, I know this might be a long shot, but I just wana ask anyway, it's the next thing I'd love to have after this.
Do you think it's possible to have different reshade settings for Exterior/Interior cells, and Day/Night, like the ENB does? I like more bloom at night, and more green coloring in exterior than interior, etc.
I can't even get Reshade to work, it goes nearly to the end of the grey bar at the top of the starting black screen (where AFAIK Reshade is loading its shaders) and then I get a CTD.
Btw, I use a similar mod on BG3 to mask the UI, it's a fantastic method when it works, it really works.
Does it make a difference how we install reshade? I selected the oblivion remastered exe NOT the win64 shipping one. Could this somehow be causing crash? Cause it to not cooperate with this mod or something
So I have tried just about everything to get this to work, but it appears that the shader effect toggler addon causes the game to CTD on launch. Even with all .fx files removed, DLSS off, FG off, I still get the same result. Hopefully someone can figure this out, but from what I can see, shader effect toggler does not always play nice with dx12.
Well the game launches with the x32 addon but the addon itself doesn't show up under the addon section of Reshade. Probably because the x32 version isn't supported and Oblivion runs on x64.
