Have you thought about making a mod where containers respawn unless they are inside a player house? I just found out that jewelry boxes still don't respawn.
Actually yes and no, we can globally stop respawns but it will be for everything, but it can for sure be done with scripting. This mod might do the trick for you: Respawn Time Adjuster
I want to disable dungeon respawn but still be able to collect food from farms instead of it being one-and-done. All respawn solutions seem to be applied to everything instead of only some stuff.
Before we continue, here is the reason why the clams have a chance to have 2 pearls:
Above you have three different "clam deposits". As you can see, there are more than one clam, and that's why there is a chance to find 2 pearls. To be honest, a chance for 3 pearls would be even better :)
With all of that said, I understand your reasoning (in Skyrim each clam is individual) so I have posted a 1 clam pearl version in the optional file section.
It goes by the vanilla settings for all other cell/vendor spawns. So if you use a mod to lower your respawn to 1 hour or 1 day that will be reflected in this mod.
Yes, from a technical standpoint most things are possible with raw scripting i.e. sink down the original spawn nodes, then replace with our own meshes bound to a specific time we set for respawn. But that is lot of work to do. Look inside the ESP Respawning Varla and Welkynd Stones - Remaster with TES4REdit and you will see all the work that's needed :)
A neat idea - but could you take it further? Could you make it so that you need to have a pickaxe in your inventory to mine ore? Probably quite difficult to do, but it would give a purpose to the pickaxe and it would be more lore-friendly. Even if you can't "use" the pickaxe, at least you need one to mine.
Technically it should not matter as long you load "Respawning Ore and Amber and Clam deposits" after Ascension. The same goes for my other mod Respawning Nirnroot.
