For me, this mod isn't working anymore. Not as MO2 install, not as manual install. Perhaps it's because I've downloaded Oblivion: Remastered with the latest known patch while writing this post.

    Guess just waiting for now.

So long and thanks for all the fish.

Is there any way to make this only affect NPCs? I'm sick of my followers gear constantly falling off because it gets broken, but I like item
    degradation for myself.

How is it different from modified game settings fDamageToArmorPercentage and fDamageToWeaponPercentage?

Those gamesettings affects the XP you get when your weapon/armor gets damaged. If you set those to 0 for example, you will stop gaining armor skill XP at all.

Does this only work for the player or make NPCs have the same benefit? Will disintegrate/corrode spells still work on enemies?

I'm using the OBSE version, went to the equipbreakage file and wrote 0.0 in the Durability Multiplier, still got equipment degradation?

if you are using vortex, simply right click and open it in file manager, then navigate to equipbreakage.ini and edit with notepad.

      [Settings]
      ; Multiplier for durability damage
      ; Examples:
      ; 0   = no durability loss
; 0.5 = durability decreases at half the normal rate
      ; 1   = default durability loss
; 2   = durability decreases twice as fast
      DurabilityMultiplier=0.0

change the DurabilityMultiplier=0.0 to your preferred setting. for example i have mine set at 0.3

god bless kind person! I hate nothing more than mod authors who do a mod but dont explain at all how to use the mod, what it does or if it has some specific settings you need to turn on how to use those then...

literally all you mentioned is already in description, didn't know there is a need to explain how to edit simple ini file ;)

How does this affect disintegrate spells? If I do 100pts damage with the multiplier at 0.5, does that mean their armor takes half of what it normally would take away? Or is there no change?

Would an option for separate multipliers for armor / weapons be possible?

Is there a reason this is an OBSE plugin when there is a ue4ss game setting for this?

Is this for those who dont want to use game settings?

Am just curious as it seems a lot simpler doing this through ue4ss

EDIT: Im not sure how it works exactly, but the difference between this being an OBSE plugin vs OBSE plugin game setting

So are you going to tell us how to do that or are you just gonna leave us all clueless? I can't find any setting to configure item degradation.

OBSE is far more stable that UE4SS at the moment.

Exactly. UE4SS can cause crashes, it is not that stable. I wish more mods would use OBSE.
