What plugin contains the cataclysm armor? AltarDeluxe I'm assuming? And you edited these values in TES4Edit, right? Because the construction kit hangs when trying to open it.

Would be able to convert the heavy version of the cataclysm armor to light? and adjust the weight to reflect the original light version but keep the defenses of the heavy? And leave the pieces unenchanted?

It has nothing to do with the mod but I can teach you how, it's very simple with TES4EDIT and it will take you 30 minutes. Let me know if you're interested.

Sure, I've used the construction kit before but never TES4EDIT. What would I need to do?

Thank you for this as well. Is there a way someone could edit the enchants themselves? Make them more sneak based for example.

Yes, no worries, give me the list of enchantments you want, specifying on which pieces of armor you want them.

I've been trying to mess around with this stuff myself. What file did you load to modify the armor? I cant find it in the Oblivion master file.

These sets are part of the deluxe version, so you will have to open AltarDeluxe.esp

Another way that can save you time: Open my esp directly and edit only the enchantment section.

You can find the different ID names effect here: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Magical_Effects

I didn't intend to do that since it's easy to get a powerful enchantment with sigil stones.
But if you have a specific idea, I can try.

Thanks for this, it's so silly they would give us special armor and not make it an interesting set.

Yes, I was surprised that it wasn't enchanted.
Afterwards, given his power + the fact of gaining a set of weapons and armor quite quickly, the difficulty balance takes a hit (I was still in iron armor when I got it the first time). It's probably out of caution that they left it like that.
Personally, I found it a shame, so I put some good penalties on it for those of low level, and it's consistent with the fact that it's a Daedra gift.
