The same clipping occurs with Steel Cuirass, just not as noticeable because of the colour (I'm using darkened Blackwood mod). At least that's the case with my Nord.
There's also Mythic Dawn Hood issues with Khajiit heads poking through pretty badly. I'll see if I can grab a screenshot and come back, but I can't be the only person that's happened to.

Sorta good news, I made my own version of the wingless helm including the neck fixes in the optional files, unfortunately I couldn't add any textures to it so it will have that rust spot they left for some reason. Depending on which texture mod you use it might get rid of it. I'll contact the other wingless helm guy and see if he wants to add my fixed model to his.
There's still clipping im getting on the cuirass, it seems the neck seam on the player goes all the way down to the chest, and part of the characters chest/collarbone clips through the chainmail when moving.
It happens without a torch, my body is twisting because I'm turning my character, it only happens when moving around, you can't normally see I cus the camera moves behind you when you move.
I tried uninstalling all my mods and doing a new game to see if the issue still persists and it did, so Im pretty sure it's just vanilla clipping, but it's always possible it's an issue with my game.
Oh so it's only viewable when turning and also facing the camera to the front of the character at the same time? I think that's considered acceptable clipping but I can see if I can reduce it later.
sometimes during idle animations it clips when im looking at my character standing still, which is how i originally noticed it. I think breton and nord particularly have it worse
Please it's driving me crazy, pretty much any time I'm frontal viewing my character and turn or start moving I catch a glimpse of it. Often times even when standing still, have you tried to replicate it?

Ok sorry about that, there is apparently some dumb thing in unreal that messes up first person arms. But I was able to get it fixed and I brought the mod back. At least it won't be an issue in the future.
There's something about how when you export to FBX, it merges all the materials if they're named the same and the materials is what determines first person arms apparently. Like in Fmodel 3d viewer if you right click one in the list and do show it will show the arms.
In Blender you basically have to duplicate the materials so there are different named slots, then in unreal you double click the mesh and then rename the materials back. There's a post about it in the nordic muscles mod.
My friend, bless your heart! The leg clipping through the Mythic Dawn Robe & Black Hand Robe really is awful. Would it be crazy to ask you too look into it? Hopefully you can come up with solution that is easy to execute.
There are many other robes that don't clip, but if you run backwards- sideways in those two robes, the clipping is horrifying.

In Blender you basically have to duplicate the materials so there are different named slots, then in unreal you double click the mesh and then rename the materials back. There's a post about it in the nordic muscles mod.
