I'm aware of how you probably intended it to be used but it seems to pair very well with Daedric Blood - Immersive Vampire Overhaul in that your, "...adds a slight amount of damage at Stage 1 and Stage 2" works with their Reverse Progression on vampiric stages. so long as Vampires Are Never Safe is loaded after or last.
I wish I had this mod but with inverted stats on vanilla stages for everything else. This would also prompt feeding as more of a necessity. If you didn't feed, you'd take more sun damage, as well as being generally weaker. I would also have resist disease and poison at 100 in all stages, that just makes sense. Most of the vampire mods buff the character too much, there is no proper risk/reward relationship with being a vampire or feeding.
Because vampires should have weaknesses instead of just a big stat bonus. It's always silly to see vampire overhauls that ultimately get rid of sun damage debuff unless your really low on blood. Vampires shouldn't be in the sun, period.
Personal preference. Older Elder Scrolls games featured Sun Damage as a constant threat to vampire PCs. I just am used to and like having to account for it, so I made this for myself. If there are other masochist Daggerfall/Morrowind boomers out there like myself, here it is for them too.
