    Cool if it could cause the target/enemy to focus the clone and once the clone dies causes you to be become invisible for 10 seconds while 2 seconds after killing your clone, the enemy sheathes weapon and think you've died. Giving you opportunity to strike. It depends if clone leaves body, if it does, would be cool if the npc searches the body and either it has some poisonous thing which the npc consumes, or takes to consume later, or it is a trap that explodes, maybe the spell has advanced/master versions like this. Maybe it's healthbar = your magika % so when it takes damage your magika goes down or it takes 25-50% of your hp and stamina to use, like some blood magic.

    Hi just to let you know, summoning the doppelganger in and around Kvatch made me go from 160 to 10-20 fps. Perhaps I have too much crap in my inventory but that's my only gripe- My rig is Ryzen 9 9950x, 64gb of ddr5 (6400mhz) RTX 5080FE, and It's installed on my 8tb WN870 black ssd. 

    I know because I selected my doppelganger in the console, and hit "kill" and my fps immediately shot back up. I still like this mod otherwise.

      Use the non-shade version for a lag free experience.

    Amazing!
    Can we have an Illusion version of this? Instead of Demon, it can work like Mirror Image does in Dungeons and Dragons. I wouldn't say no to 2 clones with almost no damage, just to tank.
    Thinking about it, you can make a lesser version at 50 Illusion with one clone and a Master version with 2 clones.
    I think that as it is it is fantastic, but I can be overpowered for sure!

      I thought about different shader options (illusion - command aura for clone etc.) but some are either performance heavy or do not persist on characters, best example is using command or reanimate on NPCs as they lose the shaders or the effects get dispelled completely when fast traveling.
      If I can find a workaround on this i may implement it, but this looks like an engine issue.

    The shadow clone is bugged and cause extreme stutter even on a good computer. The none shade version works well.

      If you mean bugged only in this case and not otherwise gameplay related it has to be a shader related issue then, i was very careful w the implementation and just had very small non-critical issues like a bit lag here and there at busy places. I heared from some ppl that the Unreal Engine fragment-heavy approach on shaders (esp. rare ones that are not used often like the doppleganger) can cause some issues as the Devs either didn‘t take much care because of it‘s rarity or simply didn‘t optimize it well enough. Either way this now may influence this mod. Most ppl already use optimisation mods as there is less i can do or recommend for now otherwise. I‘ll keep an eye on it though.

    Just a note, I saw this in a different mod thread experiencing a clothing issue on spawn:

    Nakedness can be fixed by equipping an item via script that looks like this:
    Begin ScriptEffectStart
    AddItem ring 1; or npc.AddItem
    EquipItem ring
    RemoveItem ring 1
    End

    If it works, it'd probably be great for the enemy clone version as well (since they're always naked, and it's less likely you'd be changing zones in the middle of a fight).

      Sadly no fix. Very odd issue indeed. Tried and the clone still had the issue. It's a start though and i can use this as a base on my fix approach as it might be possible with similar methods instead.

    can i get the files for the old style without the dark ghost skin please? I like it a lot better with human skin. 

    also noticed that the greater inner demon longer it is out the greater the FPS drops. went from 80 fps to 15 fps in minutes. Specially if you summon greater inner demon and inner demon together, FPS tanks quick.

      Never had this issue, it might be due to the effect somehow or the clones summoning creatures in fights.

      In some rare cases I had a similar thing in the market district of ic because of the already busy place and scripts working at once, could imagine the same things in some similar scenarios as the clones count as seperate actors (performance is a bummer in Remaster anyways so lol). I might add a spell that removes the effect if cast on a clone but a seperate version might also be a thing, i‘ll see. :)

    Can you make a version where all creatures have eternal summoning? either until death or banishment? also have the angels of mania and dementia from the trembling isles dlc.
    I'm also interested in whether you can create a spell from the console command - kill.?

      Mods that turn spells into such a thing should work too but there might be some issues with clones as some1 stated below if I remember correctly. 
      If u mean adding them as seperate thing with the same functionality like this mod i thought about such a thing as soon as custom summons wont crash the game, should be possible soon as there are some spells alrdy.

    I created a spell that creates a full set of bound armor and a sword (expensive)
    But the clone wont use this unique spell.

    Is there any way to get my naked punching clone to use bound weapons again?
    Do I have to make enough spells for them to use?

    I think I'd prefer using bound and not worrying if they use an artifact or my usual armor (I run around robed)


    Also, I highly recommend nerfing this spell a bit: perhaps it should have Half stats, or half magicka at least.
    It may be too powerful as is.

      I thought about a „Lesser Inner Demon“ variant which deals 50% lesser dmg, might add it in the next Release.
      As for the bound spells its a lil weird, for me I got the masterful bound armor spell from Supreme Magicka and my clone was using it all the time so it should work with custom ones too. I‘ll Look into it soon.

    Funny enough, for the vampire cure, if you started as a argonian, you can hit your clone with the dagger and finish that part right away lmao

    Also, I guess thats how you can contact with the Dark Brotherhood by killing your own clone, RIP

      Technicaly your clone is a seperate actor and not marked as "evil" so killing it counts, I even tried putting it into evil factions but this would result into it attacking everything straight away or not being tagged as evil at all for some odd reason. That you can get the blood for the quest though kinda even makes sense but kills the immersion for some as it's also a lil silly. Things like this are explainable but the technical part restricts me from a few things, at least for now.

      Well is a easy way to get a pass into Dark Brotherhood without killing random NPC I guess, accidentally or not lmao

      Also, careful with Toggle Spell mod, the clone can use them and probably screw up the magicka bar for some reason

      And keep up the good work

    Any fix for the clone not having clothes on summon?

      Sadly not, it's just odd. I can't find any clue what causes this as it is a "known" thing actually because the Skull of Corruption has this issue aswell. I'll keep an eye on it and fix it asap.
