Zizerak, if you read this, I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your work here is nothing short of genius; digital wizardry.
I'm running Remastered on a laptop that just barely meets minimum requirements so I've spent the last several days tweaking, retooling, and re-calibrating tons of different facets to get the game not only running right but also looking nice.
Your work with Reshade was the final piece in my long list of painstaking processes that I needed to ultimately save my sanity. With your Reshade components I was able work with a foundation from which I was able to finally achieve gorgeous fidelity on top of the smooth performance from the tons of graphical tweaks I had to do.
Now I can switch seamlessly from 60fps due to FSR frame generation and lower lighting quality to enjoy smooth larger scale battles, to 35 FPS, stutter-free gorgeous screenshot quality graphics and lighting (which, honestly, to me 35fps is still really enjoyable and playable coming from a time when Oblivion was never able to take advantage of modern CPUS and ever get above 30fps no matter what).
Proudly endorsed.
I uploaded a bunch of screenshots to show people like me working with really crappy hardware what is realistically achievable with a few hours of work.
Your words are to kind! Thank you so much for enjoying my preset this really made me feel good about myself! I am making a new mod for the Legion Dragon armor you get at the quest when martin dies. Im remodeling the armor as well as re-texturing it. this mod will be released soon! I promise everybody that sees it will absolutely love it! Aside from that little update i just shared youre truly a kind person thank you again for loving this reshade. I'll upload a v2 of it this weekend that i did im sure will be just as loved if not loved even more. Any tweaks like mods/reshade or whatever else i can do in due time will always have a 0% performance impact. I love beauty with the games i play so always expect things to just look great and play solid!
hey man I would like to install your reshade, but you don t explain where is the executable for game pass user. trying to find out myself but you might know so please add this on your description.
Follow the same instructions in the description page, except for step 2, you have to navigate to (Your drive):\XboxGames\The Elder Scrolls IV- Oblivion Remastered\Content and select "gamelaunchhelper.exe" instead of "OblivionRemastered (OblivionRemastered.exe)"
The reshade ini file should go to the same folder where the "gamelaunchhelper.exe" file is in.
