Seeing as the "Improved Chorrol" contains more files, that one is probably required, and then you install the update files on top of it. But yes, I wish that all mod authors would include these kinds of installation instructions in the description or readme.
1.1 - Added ChorrolUpdate file which adds the stucco textures I did not do in the original release. This set also includes reworked textures from the original pack.
1.2 - Added Chorrol2011.The file contains new and reworked textures from the last 3 years.Install over top of the two original files."
Per the 1.2 line, Install over the original files.
Snowy That has happened to me 2 or 3 times.I just turned off the game and restarted oblivion, problem fixed.Texture packs should not cause missing meshes, just the black or pink-purple textures if it didn't load correctly.I think that problem is more of a engine bug.
Today my granddaughter was wandering around in her game on Oblivion and was in Chorrol. She went over to the residential side and called me urgently to tell me part of Chorrol was missing. There were doors, but no houses. This was on the mini map as missing area with only named doors as well. I closed the game and happily chose to remove the Chorrol Textures first. Since I was certain those affected Chorrol and was afraid I was going to have to remove mod at a time until I figured it out. I reloaded with just the Chorrol Textures removed, and the houses are all back.
Tonight I will be checking the other towns more carefully as well, since I don't often tour whole areas. I hope this can be fixed as I love the textures you made, but I definitely want the houses lol!
I put this in last night and was well pleased with the look of it. It looks the way it should is the best way I can describe it. The textures don't run together in places anymore.. can see the brickwork, etc. Now I am heading out to see if I can find more of these to fix up the other towns!
Can the exterior textures only be installed easily? So if there's a way I can tell what's interior and install the interior later. I have Qarl's 3 interior textures in Chorrol. I could remove his though, but I'd like to try your exterior for now. Nice look in the screens. It's almost downloaded now.

Thanks!! A 10 for you!
Unzip the file and go to the Chorrol folder and delete or rename the interior folder. It's that simple.
