So far the only CTD issues I've had with this is when fast-traveling to the waterfront while certain thieves guild quests are active. Other than that, no issues thus far. I'd simply disable the mod, get a clean save, and reactivate it afterward and it seemed to solve the issue, so whatever it is, I think it's due to a bugged AI package on one of the added waterfront NPCs, though the only one I know of that this mod adds to that area is the argonian child.
Either way, it wasn't a huge issue. There is the issue with the scary nord stalker chick from Anvil popping up everywhere on me like I'm a rockstar and she's some sort of rabid groupie, and following me everywhere she can (and I mean EVERYWHERE! I've woke up with her standing by my bed!), but eh, open the console and disable her and problem solved there, though I've considered just going into the CS and prettying her up a bit so she'd at least be someone I WANT to follow me around. Or just kill her if you want an entry to the dark brotherhood...
Anyway, other than those small issues, I really have no problems with the mod, though when I look at it in the CS I do see a lot of dirty edits. Maybe when I'm a bit better at working with AI packages and scripts I'll see about doing some tweaks to solve the issues for my game, and with permission upload it if it seems to work well enough. Or not. We'll see.
Nice mod it makes the open better city mods feel a lot more legit. Though the children voice overs are kinda annoying. I have a suggestion, if you ever update the mod again, getting the voice from the kids in fallout 3, I'm pretty sure they have the quote "I'm not supposed to talk to strangers" for both male and female children characters. It would make the accidental clicking of the children a bit more pleasing to the ear.
All and all it makes for a better feel when walking through the towns and such.
i love this mod, in combination with crowded roads. one thing though... getrude eisenbrech - i think she is an anvil NPC (i traced her down in the CS to this mod)... and she has a habit of turning up and following me at random times - well.. not following, but while she SHOULD be in anvil, she'll turn up while i'm on the other side of cyrodiil. i usually end up killing her. not much of a problem... just wondering if anything could be done about it
I was getting really use to all the city activity, kids running around, random people to talk to, and then I installed Open Cities. Now I have very quiet, vacant cities, with just the country-side militia and adventurers left. Is there a patch to make City Life and Open Cities compatible?
Hey, this mod is really nice! But do you mind releasing a version that adds NPCs to Kvatch Rebuilt? Because right now, Kvatch looks like a ghost town in comparison.
This is nice mod but I found a little bug, you see. Orc names are like: name+gro/gra(depending on sex)+father's name. One of your kid character in Chorrol is called Klarg gro-Grok and his father is Shag gro-Grok. Son's name should be Klarg gro-Shag since Shag is his father, and Grok is his grandfather.
