20 tunes of death, i was drawn in here by the name itself. i figure any sound or music pack with a name like that has to be good. Ill test this out and provide proper feedback.
Most of them are remastered, however, and you're quite welcome to look at the contents of the original 9-ish minute long ones to see the differences. I personally think some of Jeremy's best works were in there and deserve to be remembered!
Few of these from NWN, idk if Jeremy Soule composed Icewind Dale or not. I actually have no idea where I got the first new battle track from but it's pretty cool ">
Oh, sorry for double post, but I waited a day... Is it just me, or does this sound a LOT like music from that Icewind Dale game? Nice style of stuff, really. I like it. Sort of alternate-universe classic, or something.
Yeah, I'll d/l this. I won't use many of the songs, probably, because I have a fully custom soundtrack for Oblivion (pumped-up dungeon music, because I'm still killing when not in combat, just I'm killing instantly /sneak skill 100/ and less happy public music, and also a couple Rob Zombie songs into the combat folder, because of all the nice undead combat I get with MMM) but I'll be sure to check it out.
Excellent choice of music that not only blends in seamlessly as you said but enhances the original work. The battle music really hits the spot with alot of action packed tension. The explore music is also top notch with a peaceful yet full of life quality. The public music was a bit too sad for me. I prefer something bustling or circus fun like for my town music to capture that sense of work, shopping in shops and the fun of a traveling circus come to town entertaining many in the town square.
Thanks for this game enhancing work aglow with classical music.
I listened to the new tracks and i gotta say, most of them are pretty good. I don't really care for the battle ones much and some of the explore tunes sound like they should be in the public folder but that's something i can easily change myself. Thanks!
