when i go to pick up the swords i see 3 yellow triangles with blue exclamation points instead of swords has anyone else had this problem and if so how do i resolve it? thanks in advance for any help
Why oh Why did you have to do the main Texture first??? I can do Texture maps really well but I have no idea how to do Normal Maps (.dds files with _N after the main file name). If anyone has done a normal map of the Durza's sword resource in the package please can someone upload it somewhere.
Love the mod man, but i have to say what everyone else has said. The movie was horid, the book was epic. You should try and make brisngr its a pretty cool sword, if you need a description here you are
Brisingr was a hand-and-a-half sword with a curved cross-guard, designed to be used for every situation Eragon might come across. It could fight equally well in a large battlefield as it could in a tight hallway. Eragon requested this from Rhunön because he needed "a sword for all occasions". Eragon would prefer to fight with one hand on his sword and the other on a shield, but circumstance did not always allow him to carry a shield. The sword was made so that he could fight with one hand as usual, but when needed he could grip with both hands for powerful blows. The glyph for "fire" in the Ancient Language, "Brisingr", was engraved on both the blade and the scabbard. It had a dark blue scabbard, like the color of Saphira's back, with a leaf-shaped steel cap on the end of the scabbard. The blade itself was a lighter iridescent blue, like the color of Saphira's neck. The brightsteel contained cable-like patterns within it, and a flame-like pattern marked the transition between the soft spine of the blade and its hard edges. The guard was made from blued brightsteel. The blade was thin near the end in order to pierce through the upgraded armor during Eragon's time. The grip was made from hard blackwood. Lastly, there was a large blue sapphire in the pommel held in place by four claws, which looked like ribs, made from blued brightsteel.
This is diirectly from the companion guide so i hope it helps!
yea i can agree about the whole movie bad book good thing... the movie sucks. such a disapointment. but yea you should defintly make brisingr its an awesome sword
I totally agree with you guys, the book was way better then the movie. Nothing fitted, Arya had black hair in the book, red in the film, she didn't even had pointy ears! And there were many more flaws that could have easily be done better. The mod is great though, altough Arya's sword is with the wrong side front
I agree. The movie was a complete buzzkill. Although it was enjoyable to an extent, and even though the movies dont always go by the book, it was awful. From what I heard, they arent even making a second movie, and Christopher Paolini is in progress of writing the FOURTH book. That just comfirms that they were just trying to get more people to read the book and sell more copies of the series. But overall, it's a nice mod. Great job =]]
The movie was ment to be a let down, they had a few cool looking CGI in there that they used for the previews to get people hooked. And since the many people who read eragon look to see that theres a movie will most definetly watch it, they did not have to spend a lot of money to make it in order to get a large group of people to watch it.
My opinion, it was a major scam. Nothing was correct in the movie, and everything looked wrong that they tried to make correct. The sapphire star wasnt even mentioned, i barely saw any varden, i can go on and on. The movie was nothing more than a lure to the fish people who read eragon, we bit, and we got the biggest dissapointment of our lives, the knowledge that we should not have taken a bite of that hook.
i also agree with wasder the movie was the biggest let down ever i saw it and kept saying to myself how many things were wrong with it.. like? get a good director i could have done better than that.. and just make the swords how you would imagine them they are magical but gj
