hey don't dis the x-box im a owner of the 360. there are things that make oblivon good the the box, for exsample it never crashes (in less there is that small chance the whole system goes down the tubes {SMALL chance})
but back to the main porpuse of this form... thx a lot for the mod this is really kgoing to help me
ps can i use this to remake the hand to hand animations to make them look more kung fu style.
[...] does this mean you could make armor with animated textures?
Nope unfortunately that is not possible, it seems the engine isn't capable of handing texture animations on skinned meshes (such as creature bodies, armors, etc.). The reason for this has something to do with normal maps, skinned meshes need normal maps or else they'll be invisible ingame, but textures affected by animation controllers mustn't have a normal map to be able to function.
Perhaps this is an obvious answer, but does this mean you could make armor with animated textures? It'd be nifty to see a script change armor textures on you or a companion in lit areas, or darker areas. Maybe even depending on sneaking. Animated sword textures.
Yay, other people can use this to make cool things I can download! Because I know I don't have the right equipment for editing meshes... Bleh...
Anywho, another thing to show off to all the XBOX 360 Oblivion owners. "Yours may run at a constant 50 FPS or so, but does yours have animated custom items? Eh?"
