I have given this file my endorsement. It makes a fine first home with a little encouragement to be the best you can be. The only thing I'd change is, make the alchemy room cupboard non-spawnable, and the food respawnable, and the bookshelves a little less explosive. Other than that it's a 10/10.
This has to be, by far, my favourite player housing mod out there. Its got most if not all the books in the game, it has a brilliant alchemy store and even has an elder scroll complete with readable text. 100/100.
very nice mod- good atmosphere and lots of neat little surprises. when one looks at the area map there appears to be a secret room in the second chamber from the entrance (with the pools in it), but I couldn't find a switch or anything. Went so far as to check it out in the CS, and it looks like an unfurnished Cheydenhal house interior? don't know if it's an artifact from the build or something but it appears to be totally inaccessible... not good or bad just something i noticed .
Wonderful - the entire cokllection of skills books Wonderful - the alchemic chests Wonderful - the almost nude trainers Wonderful - the new awesome weapons and armors Wonderful - all the altars you might ever desire
I've enjoyed this add-on for quite some time now. Although it's size can be somewhat daunting, it provides pretty much anything someone could want.
One thing that would have been a nice addition, would be display stands for armor sets within the anti-chamber. Not only would it give us a chance to show off armor collections, it would also fill a bit of the void in that room, which does seem a bit "too" empty. Armor stands could also work well in the corners near the weapon display cases.
The atmosphere of the gardens is very well done, and conveys the sense of good and evil quite nicely in my opinion. The atmosphere of the main building though doesn't quite pull off the feeling of an ancient structure. The lighting could stand to be a bit dimmer, especially near the high ceilings, and in the corner areas. Granted, the dynamic lighting it would take to pull off what I would consider the ideal atmosphere would likely be difficult to add, and very well may cause frame rate issues in a building that size.
In my opinion, the positives far out-weigh the negatives here, and the negatives in my case are nit picky anyway, so this gets a "thumbs-up" from me.
