Alrighty so I installed the game as instructed, drag and drop everything to the directory so on so forth, upon starting the game I do not see a new .esp to activate, and when I go into my game the only thing that happened was I suddenly had the Bound Boots spell. this is a new game so I have not attained that spell in any way, until adding your mod to the directory. Any thoughts?
hey I'm new to modding so I use the nmm. it downloads fine and installs fine but it does not appear in the list to check its box. I know you have gone on to bigger and better things but I really could use your advise.....
I realize the wonderful author of this (to me) essential Oblivion mod is probably busy with Skyrim or other pretties, but I have an issue and I don't know if it's the mod, or NMM. I can download and install this mod with NMM but it's not really, or at least not properly installing. It goes through the motions, but doesn't give me an esp at all. I know this mod works, as I've used it before, so I'm guessing it's just some kind of incompatibility. Unfortunately, I don't know enough about mods or manual installations or what NMM does to try to trouble-shoot this further. Any help would be appreciated.
Added notes: I tried the manual install as per the instructions, but I can't find the "jrm file" in the mod's folders, nor can I find the "tents file" under Oblivion Architecture.
Drill down to the games Data folder, then unzip my files into a folder on the desktop. Take all those files, the texture folder, the meshes folder, and the esp, and drag them to the top of the games Data folder and drop. You may be asked to over write, say yes. The files will go to the right place. Now activate the esp and the tent should all be there.
