I don't have problems with them not wearing the armor I give them, I just take their armor and give them mine. the issue I have is when I close an Oblivion gate I have to take the armor I gave them or they revert back to their base armor (the items they started with) and the Armor I gave them disappears. Does anyone know the fix for this? how to make them keep the armor I give them? Thanks for any help
i have the same problem. they just run around naked if i give them the armour they should wear. tried out to just let them have the armour they should wear in the inventory and it didnt work..
I have found that I need to leave them with just the set of armor I want to wear in their inventory. Take away everything else and they will equip the only armor they have. I think it has to do with armor types. Like if you are trying to give them heavy armor, but they perfer light armor they will keep the light on. As to them droping everything and running away. I don't know.
