I had this at first installed, But then I looked at each texture and compared it with my other mods. Better as vanilla, yes, but not better than those from OUT playground, which overhauls all vanilla textures and raises their resolution. OUT's textures are more detailed, and have finer details, the way they are reworked, thanks also to the higher resolution. They are also compressed with a newer compression without artifacts , which makes them better when loading, compared to these, which are full-size files because uncompressed. Again, OUT solves the artifacts issue in a better way.
I suggest, you skip this one and get OUT playground, which improves not only these, but nearly all other vanilla textures and as such improves texture quality equally and uniformly throughout Cyrodiil.
To all those who say they can't tell the difference: If you zoom in at the comparison image you can see that vanilla textures have greenish noise. This is especially noticeable on the lower right corner.
Heyhey, I'm sorry if I'm just being dumb -- I'm very new to PC gaming and therefore mods -- but is there a bug where the sky textures don't show up? After a few minutes in-game, the sky just sort of vanishes and is replaced by flat black sky with some blue glow around the horizons. Have I goofed up somewhere?
Other than that, MAN this is a beautiful mod, thank you so much for making it!
Nope you didn't messed-up. The author should update this, because some of the files are corrupted. EDIT: Ooops. Fakenews. Weather mod is making my game shit.
