I downloaded this mod as part of the A Painted World modlist through Wabbajack.
However, Wabbajack indicates to me that the file is corrupted. Sure enough, in the Misc Shader Replacement 1.0.omod, the config and data.crc files are corrupted. I tried downloading the mod on my own, manually through Nexus and then dragging and dropping it in the folder, but the issue persists.
Here is what Wabbajack's log says :
2:23:09.395 [ERROR] (Wabbajack.Installer.StandardInstaller) Download error for file Refraction and menu Shader Replacment-7332.zip|System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: Hôte inconnu. Does anyone knows what I could do to fix this up ?
I had assumed that this had a no refraction effect for chameleon. So, anyone looking for a "no refraction" mod, this isn't it. If you like the normal chameleon, but want different intensities, this is for you.
I luv the mod but there's a minor drawback to it =( I hope the author is aware of it and fixes the problem: If you change to any of these refractions then the refraction effects (such as Oblivion Gate, spells that use it, the enemies in the beginning that summon armor, etc.) they get all crumpled looking and not as smooth anymore. However, the chameleon refraction works great like the mod says, just be aware that it will affect other refraction effects though, making them look yucky. (oblivion gate is a good example to see what I'm talking about).
Oh, Timeslip, you are my hero...! Once more you prove your general amazingness!
Is there any remote possibility that you could do replacement hair shaders so that the default hair looks decent (or anything remotely close to decent, or even acceptable) with SM 2.0 cards??
But these and the Nighteye shaders are great "> , thank you so much!!

you can just do what this mod does without any bugs by changing bStaticMenuBackground=0 in your oblivion.ini
Endorsed +1
