After using this mod several times, and as much as I love it, I think it would be better if your warned family disappeared and never returned. It would add more realism. That's just my opinion. Great work nonetheless.
This sounds like an awesome mod and all, but I've run into a problem. I handed them the warning, they faked their deaths, I talked to Lucien and everything was fine. I've completed the Dark Brotherhood quest, I have talked to the Night Mother twice since completing the quest line, and I have even checked the Getstage dark18mother and I get the "dark18mother =100".
Yet they still have not returned to the Sanctuary. Any idea what might cause this?
I may be 9 years late to the party but if anyone still plays Oblivion (which you should be) I found where the bug lies. Sometimes the script doesn't run in time before you move from dark18mother stage 60 to stage 100. The completion of Whispers Warning is scheduled to happen at stage 60. If you really want to fix it you can download the construction set, load this esp, open the script "dark10sparesanc" find the last piece of the quest and change 60 to 100 at the "getstage dark18mother = 60". Maybe if I find the time I'll open up the mod and fix it with a few various other bugs/polishes worked out and post it. Hope this helps at least one person.
I remember the first time I played this, killing them about killed me lol.. I am sooooooooo glad to have discovered this mod, made the DB quest much more enjoyable for me this time through. Thank you
never mind it appears that you have to leave and enter trough the door instead of teleporting or going through the well cause if you leave throught the wrong exit nothing will happen.
I personally never had a problem killing the members of the brotherhood, with the exception of when Ocheeva cried "Why Brother" with her last breath...i died a little inside
