I shall down load this mod to see how it is before commenting about it. I have heard some good things from the users here in the forums. I shall download this when I have the time.
If any of you have a problem with 5.1 surround sound on your computer, Here is some advice for you: Problem 1- When I move the Footstep sounds on the player stutter and skip between the top center speaker and the two rear speakers. Answer- If you have 5.1 speakers and have not changed out or changed the settings of your sound card settings this may be your problem. Answer2- The sound card you had with the 2.1 speakers is still in your tower and does not support 5.1 sound. I advise you to get a better sound card as this might be the case. Advise before buying a new card- Check the box or the manual the card came with to see what kind of sound card you need. also check your computer model to see what card is right for your computer.
The effect wasn't immediately noticeable, but I did began to notice quite an increase in the quality of the ambient sounds after a while... and when I heard the insects I knew this mod was doing its work
Kudos for not overdoing it. You know a mod is good when you don't even notice you're using it while it enhances your playing experience.

Love the new sounds, they create a whole new level of immersion
I have to disable this when doing Fingers of the Mountain as it causes a crash. However otherwise it stays enabled

I try a lot of MODs--and ditch most of them. This one is on my short list of those that have stood the test of time.
