Emma's Lakeside Home mod offers a beautifully crafted player home with an array of immersive crafting features. In contrast, the OCRAFT mod provides a versatile framework for creating customizable crafting stations. These two systems serve distinct purposes: Lakeside Home focuses on a personal and interactive player experience, while OCRAFT prioritizes adaptability and expandability. This compatibility patch aims at seamlessly integrating the two systems, while preserving the unique strengths of each. This is done using resources supplied by the OCRAFT Stations for Sale mod.
The following changes are made to Lakeside Home as of Version 1.0:
1. Several of the crafting stations (loom, forge, spinning wheel, sewing basket, tanning rack, carpentry tools) now exhibit an extra choice "See more options" when opening their text boxes (for the cooking pot it is called "a quick dish"). Choosing this option opens the OCRAFT menu corresponding to the station, where OCRAFT recipes can then be accessed. The idea here was to preserve the personal tone that the text boxes provide.
2. The spinning/weaving/sewing system was greatly extended and modified, such that differently colored fabric and yarn is needed for different outfits. A dye pot is added next to the sewing station to produce colored yarn.
3. The Toolbox is now a Workbench interface.
4. All crafting recipes match corresponding OCRAFT ones.
5. All Lakeside Home materials were replaced by generic counterparts from OCRAFT.
Although not a strict requirement, it is highly recommended to use this mod together with Cobl and Lakeside Cobl addon to enable the use of water sources etc.
