I guess I'm just going to have to duplicate the unenchanted robes from the well and enchant them myself until it's actually fixed, at least we have said well so we can use any of the robes however we please so it's not that big of a deal but it is kind of inconvenient if not a little anti climactic but what really bothers me is that it takes up space in my inventory despite not being there.
1 Find the mod in the load order 2 Select the drop down for Clothing 3 At the bottom of the list there are the leveled enchanted wizard robes without UNPLAYABLE in the name (ie WizardRobe06, WizardRobe12, etc) 4 On the right side there should be a box called 'General Tags Non-Playable', double click the word Non-Playable and unselect the non-playable tag 5 Repeat this process for each level of the Wizard Robes 6 Save and deploy the manually updated mod using the new file
I dont think its a bug but in first person with conjurer's robe a part of the upper arms are missing and its very apparent when casting spells. if someone could send a picture of what I mean that would be great.
The 1.3 female sleeves are great! You did what I didn't bother to try doing with my female Arch Mage robes mod and converted the split sleeve thing from the male robes into female!
I dont know how to describe it but something very visually strange happens whenever any female character (at least everyone I saw wearing it) including the one im playing wears arch mages robes, is anyone else having this situation?
yeah something like that, parts of the robe I think around the chest are just stretched way out and it doesn't to seem happen to any male characters I saw wearing it, I would send an image if I could.
Yikes, that's a skeleton compability issue I hadn't even considered. Easy answer here would be to download this skeleton mod. It could save you a lot of visual anomalies for any future mods you might pick up:

In the meantime, I'm going to see if I can't adjust the models to work with the vanilla skeleton. Watch this space I guess!
Seems like the new update might require a new game I updated and the robes are not showing up on guild mates their invisible and causing a crash when getting near them.
I recommend not including the version number in the .esp file name. It makes it easier for users to install updates if the .esps have the same names, because the new one will overwrite the old one when the update is installed.
I would say there's a strong possibility you would. I overwrote the filepath for the same Archmage robe your character is currently wearing. But it's hard to predict how Oblivion will handle things like this.
In the worst case, there should be unenchanted versions of the robe in the Arcane University well :)

I've posted the second batch of robes, also lootable from the well outside the Arcane University.
If you come across any strange errors - invisible meshes, pink textures, giant yellow !'s - let me know and I'll patch it up.

I've isolated what I think could cause a visual bug and plan to upload a small patch for it soon, but any more info would help :)

In the texture path, get rid of everything (including the "\") before "textures\".
I also happened to catch a bad CS filepath for the mage's hood... I'll have a patch through very shortly.
Wizard's Robes are obtained after "A Plot Revealed" and should be received alongside the Wizard's Fury spell.
Magister's Robes come after advancement post returning the Necromancer's Amulet and Bloodworm Helm.
