This is a fixed version of Drahenne's Hackdirt Alive, which hasn't been supported for a long time. The original mod aims to improve the overall look of the town of Hackdirt by adding extra props around to make the place more spooky and dilapidated.
This fixed version aims to address various issues in the original mod (including ones that could cause crashes), leaving behind only environmental changes. It includes all the necessary files from the original version.
The following changes were made:
- Removed various dirty edits, particularly direct edits of NPC races, which could cause conflicts.
- Implemented fixes from the Unofficial Oblivion Patch, which were previously being overwritten and could cause issues like the shop being illegal to enter.
- Undid the deletion of vanilla records, which could cause crashes. "Initially Disabled" flag is now used instead.
- Fixed pathfinding to take into account the new props, so that NPCs don't try to walk through them.
- Fixed issues with various models, such as improperly set up collision or lack of optimization.
- Removed a few containers containing SI-specific loot.
- Removed unused assets.
Note: Due to the removal of NPC edits, there is no BBB version.
As in the original mod, credit for the assets goes to the following authors: - MEO - Phitt - Phaedra - Stroti - Lunasprite13 - Lady Nerevar - Will Worthington - AST - Xiamara - jbvw - Talkie Toaster - Dustin Flan
